A thousand people liked this post. For the same reason they read what you wrote and agreed with you is the same reason most of them voted (and would still vote) for Tinubu. We are a country bereft of logical thinkers. You need a crash course on intra continental or world trade. Imagine food production being the reason for not pursuing dismemberment of a country. Omg.
I was having a chat with a friend who thinks Nigeria is better off divided like North and South Korea. I asked him a question How do you intend the South would survive without food? He had this confusing look on his face? What do you mean the South can not survive without the North? The South has land and young people we will farm and produce our own food. I asked again... With which land? He said we have land now... I told him no the South doesn't have enough land that will feed it's high population. Also Southern youth aren't interested in agriculture compared to the North. More than half of the food we eat in the south are from the North. If you go to those states that borders the South and North (Abuja, Kogi, Kwara etc) you'll understand the amount of food haulage that happens every minute of everyday. The South has oil, the north has food. We are so integrated we can't do without ourselves. We depend everyday on each other for survival. We can only call for good leadership to bring out the best in our human and capital resources. May God bless and keep Nigeria.

FOUR MEN RELEASED AFTER MORE THAN FOUR YEARS IN DSS DETENTION: WHO ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEARS THEY LOST? Today, I welcome the reported release of four men who have been held by Nigeria's Department of State Services (DSS) since May 2022 over allegations of involvement with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The men, Emele Uduma Ibe, Berefgagha Appah, Ondokeyilemi Aggry and Oyeinmokebebeton Aggry, have reportedly been cleared of the allegations following a review of their cases. The DSS Director-General, Oluwatosin Adeola Ajayi, has also approved an initial ₦20 million compensation package, amounting to ₦5 million for each man. Their release is welcome. Yet it also raises serious human-rights questions that cannot be ignored. For more than four years, these men were deprived of their liberty. Their families endured their absence, their livelihoods may have been shattered, and irreplaceable years of their lives were lost. No financial compensation can fully restore what was taken from them. The obvious questions remain: Why were they detained for so long? Were they promptly brought before a competent court? What legal authority sustained their continued detention? Why did an investigation that ultimately cleared them take more than four years to reach that conclusion? Section 35 of Nigeria's Constitution guarantees personal liberty and provides remedies for unlawful arrest and detention, including compensation and a public apology. I equally welcome the reported review of other inherited detention cases by the DSS. However, this development should mark the beginning of a wider and more transparent examination of security-related detentions across Nigeria, including those involving IPOB and the question of Biafran self-determination. My thoughts are also with the men and women reportedly held in facilities such as 'Wawa Barracks' and 'Giwa Barracks' , and with the families who continue searching for answers, justice and accountability. Their individual cases deserve proper legal scrutiny, not assumptions of guilt or innocence based solely on political affiliation. The principle is simple: every person accused of an offence is entitled to due process. Detention must always be justified in accordance with the law. Where evidence exists, authorities should prosecute through the courts. Where lawful grounds for detention no longer exist, individuals should be released without delay. I congratulate these four men on regaining their freedom, and I hope the promised medical, psychological and reintegration support is fully delivered. Their release should also force a broader national conversation about prolonged detention and its human cost, particularly for families whose loved ones remain in custody without timely resolution of their cases. Our humanity must never depend on whether we agree with another person's political beliefs. "He paid Innoson upfront to boost indigenous manufacturing, create jobs in Anambra, and cut import dependence, per 2013 reports and Innoson’s chairman". Continue constituting nuisance on X, Omojuwa.
When it is Peter Obi, all of a sudden it is okay if the SUVs are 177. It is also okay if the splurge is on local vehicles. Those who are deceived by you lot made that choice intentionally.

Nigeria's under-development is intentional.
“Crude oil is in the South, yet refineries are built in the North. Cattle are in the North, yet ranches are pushed South. Terrorists operate in the North, yet the South is militarized. Importers are in the East, yet seaports are developed in the West while Eastern ports remain neglected.”

Nigeria is an absolute disgrace of a country. How can a sitting president of a country be deeply embroiled in a drugs related case and the president is yet to be impeached? Why is everyone quiet and why is the FBI that has a zero tolerance for drugs-related offences seemingly protecting the accused?
Update: In the @FBI filing before the court, the FBI asked the court not to allow the disclosure of highly sensitive “wiretap” recordings responsive to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@officialABAT). You read that correctly: the FBI admits that the Tinubu-responsive records contain wiretap material. Immediately afterward, the #FBI states that these wiretap-responsive records were compiled in furtherance of its investigation of multiple individuals for heroin-trafficking crimes. In our plain-English reading of the document, the FBI has Nigerian President Bola Tinubu on tape connected to heroin-trafficking crimes. Not surprisingly, the FBI goes on to specifically invoke FOIA Exemption 3 and 18 U.S.C. §§ 2510–2520, the federal law governing Title III wiretaps, to protect the identities of individuals targeted for interception and information obtained from those wiretaps. The problem with this argument is that #FOIA has limited protection for deceased persons and persons convicted of a crime. The FBI itself states on pages 19–20 of Document 100-1 that “privacy concerns are typically obviated once an individual is deceased.” We are speculating, but the only targeted person we believe is alive in that case is Nigerian President Bola #Tinubu. We truly hope that the court puts aside the FBI’s argument and orders the release of the wiretap material. If Nigerian President Tinubu is on those wiretap tapes connected to #heroin trafficking, the American people, the @realDonaldTrump Administration, Congress, and the #Nigerian people deserve to know what those tapes contain. @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @SecRubio @SusieWiles47 @HouseForeignGOP @HouseForeign @SFRCdems @StateDept @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @SenTedCruz @RepBrianMast @SusieWiles @RepGregSteube @RepJames @Jim_Jordan @RepRaskin @FBIDirectorKash @ChuckGrassley @SenatorDurbin @HouseJudiciary @JudiciaryGOP @USAttyPirro @TheJusticeDept @FBI @DEAHQ @FoxNews @washingtonpost @joerogan @joeroganhq @seanhannity @IngrahamAngle @chicagotribune @nypost @nytimes @AGToddRokita @GovBraun @tmhuston @INHouseGOP @indgop @SOSDiegoMorales @indystar @JudgeJeanine @GOP @Republicans

I don't even think some of our people understand what is going on. A DSS official or military officer that is not Igbo can come into the Southeast and grab any beautiful Igbo lady of their choice and take them to any barrack or detention center in northern Nigeria (under the pretext of the individual being an IPOB member) and continually violate them sexually until they have had their fill, and then leave them there - without access to any legal representation or their families. I believe there are thousands of Igbo youths scattered in many detention centres in northern Nigeria, who in the minds of their families, are believed to be dead after several years of searching for them without success. I also believe this has been going on for years, and the only man capable of speaking for our people is in Sokoto, and he is there today due to the collusion of some of our people with the oppressors. I believe it is time for independent journalists to run documentaries on this singular issue. Families who have lost their sons and daughters should be contacted. The victims too should be interviewed to give an account of their ordeal while they were there. Being Igbo in Nigeria is very dangerous.

But Mike and Ejiofor got the "discharged and acquitted" judgement while your Aloy and Maxwell got the "life imprisonment" judgement. How exactly did Mike and Ejiofor betray IPOB? Tell us.
Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), Ifeanyi Ejiofor, and the dissolved third administration of the Directorate of State (DOS) betrayed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by collaborating with the Federal Government of Nigeria after charging IPOB $100,000. These actions represent a severe breach of trust against the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its leader. Accountability is demanded from the former DOS leadership regarding their financial involvement in this matter. With Ozekhome already facing public disgrace, similar consequences are anticipated for Ejiofor and the expelled DOS members for their actions against MNK.

You forgot to add Biafra flag and IPOB branded t-shirts to the items retrieved. How could you forget that?
UPDATE ON ARMS CACHE DISCOVERED BY SECURITY FORCES IN ENUGU STATE LINKED TO INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA/EASTERN SECURITY NETWORK In continuation of series of intelligence led operations to degrade the combat power of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) /Eastern Security Network (ESN) in the South East region, troops of 82 Division Garrison operating under Sector 1, Operation UDO KA, in close collaboration with operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), Enugu State Command have achieved another significant operational success in the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II. This is in an effort to consolidate the ongoing peace building efforts in the region. In addition to the successes recorded on 9 June 2026 at Gariki, Enugu South Local Government Area, troops further raided a Safe House located at Agbani, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State during which troops uncovered a clandestine arms hideout. A thorough exploitation of the apartment led to the recovery of more weapons and ammunition. These include AK- 47 Riffles, AK-47 magazines, 323 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition and 10 x pairs of IPOB uniforms. All recovered items and arrested suspects have been handed over to the DSS Enugu State Command for further investigation and appropriate legal action. This Operation reflects Operation UDO KA’s unwavering commitment to sustaining offensive actions against criminal and terrorist networks that could undermine the ongoing peace building process in the region. Operation UDO KA reaffirms its dedication to protecting citizens and preserving national sovereignty while the public is strongly encouraged to continue providing timely and credible information to security forces. These will enhance the collective efforts to achieve lasting peace and security in the South East. Is life not funny? I know a lot of individuals on X who were consistently attacking IPOB and Kanu when the heat was so much. These people wanted IPOB and Kanu dead, literally. Now that a development which is at the very centre of Kanu's teachings is being felt by Nigerians, these individuals who wished for the obliteration of Kanu and IPOB are now all over the place praising Kanu and IPOB. We will always remember those who tried to destroy us.

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began. The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start. Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have. If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.

You can't have a country like this and expect people not to agitate for Biafra. Whatever you want to do with your miserable lives not everyone wants to be part of it. If you want to be useless be useless, don't force other people to be useless like you. Others have ambitions and dreams. Pharaoh let my people go!

Is he asking everyone to "sit at home" for a week? So Nigerians now want to try Nnamdi Kanu's methods. We must learn a lesson.
