Latest song—Moue—is out on all streaming platforms.
No AI. 100% of the blame for this is on my shoulders.

It is.
The first movie was visually stunning and while it changed the story a little, sometimes that has to happen to cram an epic novel into a 2 hour film.
The second movie was a poor fanfic that had a lot of the characters' names right, but none of their actual selves.
I have no desire to watch Chani become Paul's nemesis.
Me: "Okay, Claude, we need to match based on name and not an id as it's understood that names are not unique and this needs to trigger off any matches."
Claude: "I matched on the ID"
Me: "No, do not match on ID, match on the name"
Claude: "Ah, you specifically said not to do that and I did. Let me do the opposite of what you asked again. It's just a token budget, right?"
To be fair... this comes as no suprise
Interesting, if you go to xitter.cf/i/under_the_hood you can see a report of what labels your account may have been hit with.
Or some labels. Doesn't show shadow stuff from what I can tell.
If @Dell wants to send me a PowerEdge for coming up with this brilliant idea, I can't say I'd decline the offer.
This morning had you asked me if I ever believed the Gun Control Act had a chance of ever being overturned, I would have laughed at you.
But if this is the best argument the gun banners can come up with, there's actually a strong chance.
Because this is some weak-ass shit right here. If they're struggling to even define what "arms" are qua AR-15s, this is going to open up so many lawsuits to get our rights back that they will not be able to defend.
Back in the '90s I dated a girl whose father used to work for Waffle House corporate.
He explained the system to me in detail and being that I ate there all the time, it was fascinating to watch it happen in real life.
And I'm not saying this to disparage Waffle House employees but this system was set up not only to be efficient but also to work well with the types of people who get jobs at Waffle House.
It's simple, effective, and results in very, very few mistakes.
It is quite ingenious.
Back in the days where you bought CD burners, there was really only 1 player in the game IIRC - Mitsumi.
Anywho, turned out it was apparently cheaper to just make all of them CD Burners and solder on a small chip that would make some of them only look like a reader.
Read-only was a LOT cheaper to purchase. So, I did. And just de-soldered the little chip and whammo! Read/Write!
So this makes sense in a weird way.
i find this pretty funny
the M4 iPad Pro with 8GB RAM actually shipped with 12GB RAM, which we found out through teardowns, Apple never acknowledged it and still only let you use 8GB RAM
fast forward to 2026, Apple releases a more powerful on device Apple Intelligence model that requires a minimum of 12GB RAM, which won't run on the base model M4 iPad Pro cause it has "8GB RAM", even if the underlying hardware had 12GB RAM
make it make sense Apple
I'm not saying I accidentally wired a switch wrong over the weekend that would have answered this question, but I am not denying it either.
The very first thing I ever purchased with money I made from a legitimate, tax-paying job, was a bottle of Obsession for Men.
It lasted so long, I threw it away with still plenty left.
Which is weird because I'm sure I marinated in the stuff.
AI: "It's roughly a day's work. Most of it is the catalog entries plus the endpoint, deleting the service code, and repointing the UI."
Me: "Define a 'day's work'"

I rarely see the hummingbirds stop to eat. Generally they hover while they sip at the nectar as this is a behavior I've never seen until today.
Sadly we only have one hummingbird ever come to our feeder. I'm jealous of the people that have swarms of them.
Tagging @mattbramanti because I know how much he enjoys FB Marketplace
