Liz Cheney: “I say this to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible. There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain.”
I love this guy. Always spot on.

Democrats’ path forward is simple: pass popular bills that make a material impact on people’s lives, make Trump own every veto, and go after Washington corruption as the affordability issue it is.
Run Elissa Run! @SenatorSlotkin
The only viable alternative to Schumer is @ElissaSlotkin and I hope she challenges him for majority leader.

I’ve known many other defense secretaries, starting with Cap Weinberger, who served as defense secretary under Reagan.
I can say without fear of contradiction that Pete Hegseth is the stupidest and least qualified of them all.
He is a danger to the entire world.
He must be impeached.

“Jeffries and Schumer should step aside...
I am a big believer in new leadership... Democrats need new leaders in the House and Senate.”

Jeffries and Schumer bear responsibility for the astonishing passivity of Congressional Democrats in the last two years. They could have organized local and state resistance efforts to rescue programs killed by DOGE and Trump, to keep scientific research alive, to organize universities, law firms, media, and corporations to resist Trump's intimidation. They could have held press conferences and posted videos every single day to call out Trump's corruption and present an alternative vision for the country. Chris Murphy did it, others did it.
But not the leaders.
We will have no presidential candidate for 18 months. The task of presenting a vision that will lead America back from the darkness will fall to these two men. I wish I felt more confident they are up to the task.

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

America is tired of disrespect, lies, insults, name-calling, broken promises, and people who use religion as a puppet or power to enrich themselves. From a long ago campaign - thinking of my dad today and of the incredible blessings of freedom handed down to us by all those who have defended it. It’s up to us to elect people who are worthy to lead. Vote like our freedom depends upon it because it does. 🇺🇸
