Too 5 ever.
The Chevy Chase comedy "Fletch" was released in theatres today in 1985. Since its release the film has developed an enormous cult following and was followed by a 1989 sequel, Fletch Lives. #80s

I don't care if you like Kendrick Lamar's music or not. Any man who makes a Buick Grand National the centerpiece of the #SuperBowl halftime show is a superhero. #GNX

Goals are for people who care about winning once. Systems are for people who care about winning repeatedly.
I’d say this sentiment applies once again. Pulling for @Carlos_Rodon55 tonight, but last night’s game was game was absolutely electric. October baseball has juice.
I could care less about a random MLB game in July, but October baseball has juice. Two great games tonight. Let’s go @Nationals and @treavturner

God bless you, Tim Peeler.
The world appreciates Robert Oppenheimer for his development of the first atomic bombs that ended World War II. His legacy is in the creation of nuclear warfare.
Clifford Beck, however, was a pioneer in turning Oppenheimer's bomb into fissionable materials to create the first civilian nuclear power plants. From Salisbury, Beck was educated at Catawba College, Vanderbilt and UNC, before going to work for the Manhattan Project and at the Oak Ridge Labs in Tennessee.
At NC State, Beck started the first nuclear engineering academic program at any university, which thought so much of him and his work that it built him the world's first private research nuclear reactor. It is still operational on campus today.
Cal's on-campus research reactor went online 15 years after NC State's and failed in 1985. The city of Berkeley quickly prohibited nuclear weapons-related activity within city limits.
Beck was also a pioneer in creating oversight for responsible use of nuclear power via the Atomic Energy Commission.
Neither Oppenheimer nor Tesh ever had their own nuclear reactor.

Please read this thread. More ways to help those in need in Western NC and first hand proof that I have the best neighbors in the world (except for being UNC fans!). We are going to need to continue to support our friends and families in western NC for quite some time.

Take a few minutes to be inspired by a 13 year old girl with autism who dreams to coach football, a father who wants to fulfill that dream — whatever it takes — and a college coach who provided hope for both in a moment of hopelessness.

Go Pack! Fantastic article about NC State’s sailing team on the rise!
Their growth comes despite the fact that these Wolfpackers compete as a club team, without the funding available to many varsity programs.

Andy Rooney landed on the beach of Normandy days after D-Day, 80 years ago today. In 2004, he shared a firsthand account of “a day unlike any other.”
“It’s hard for anyone who has been in a war to describe the terror of it to anyone who hasn’t,” he said. cbsn.ws/3yTkNzC.

Filed to ESPN: Han Solo, Pac-Man and the memories of another magical March for the Wolfpack. This year's Final Four run has me thinking about the greatest gift any sports fan ever receives. Your all-time favorite team.
