I don't want my tax dollars going to fund private schools. It is clear that @ABDanielleSmith and the @UCPCaucus are out of touch with what the majority of Albertans want. It is time for a provincial election.
Oh fun! Alberta is spending 25.8 million to build new school buildings for schools that are either religious or religious adjacent… Including one is Sylvan lake. Whose student body is made up of almost 3/4 home schooled kids it supports the home schooling of.

#WingNutDani wouldn't have a clue about merit or fairness. #WorstPremier
DEI is not about hiring someone unqualified (unlike politics), it’s about ensuring that qualified job candidates, regardless of sex, race, age, disability, sexuality, etc have an equal shot given these groups are historically underrepresented when they *aren’t* considered.

Would be nice if we had a premier who was qualified for the job. #WingNutDani #WorstPremier
Will straight, white Alberta men finally discover that they are not, in fact, the most qualified for the job?

30 search warrants, multiple RCMP investigations, a Crown prosecutor brought in from the Organized Crime Unit, OAG probe and at least four cases currently before the courts involving related matters. And that’s not enough for you? Are you part of the UCP caucus or cabinet? Because they seem to share that same attitude. Whatever happened to fiduciary duty and accountability to Albertans?

We all saw the RCMP slow walk the Kenney investigation. Don’t act surprised when Albertans have no faith in the RCMP to punish political corruption $49M is STILL sitting in a private bank account for services NOT rendered, and nothing happens. That’s not alleged. That’s a fact

They don’t even try to hide the corruption
Oh, look! Is Abigail Schimke, the UCP’s Central Alberta Director, the same Abby Schimke who works in Administration at Lighthouse Christian Academy — the very school that was just awarded $4 million by the Government of Alberta? 🤔

Always a UCP grift. If there isn't an angle to pocket some cash for themselves, or cronies or their masters, the government of Alberta doesn't do a damn thing. Smith's UCP isn't governing for Albertans, they're picking the public purse to fill their pockets with our tax dollars.

that's not what the referendum question read, although the Premier's office somehow thinks it was to elect judges. and: it failed.
It was pleasure to join Canada Strong and Free Network to discuss our country’s judicial system. Canada’s activist judges need to depoliticize themselves or else be held accountable to the standard an elected official is. @canstrongfree

Money laundering. The RCMP is actively investigating money laundering at the heart of the Corrupt Care scandal.
More and more is coming to light in the CorruptCare scandal. We demand Danielle Smith call a public inquiry, NOW. This involves at least $614,000,000 of Albertans' money at a time many people are struggling to find a doctor and get timely surgeries. We all deserve transparency and accountability.

@GlobalEdmonton why the lack of the Opposition’s reaction to the #CorruptCare scandal today? You platformed the premier, but what about the Opposition Leader? It’s long overdue for you to present both sides in this debacle. #ableg #abpoli #YEGmedia

We stand with Alberta teachers. ❤️✊🏽#ableg
One year ago today, Danielle Smith and the UCP stripped 51,000 teachers of their fundamental human rights. We’ve heard that the problems they were fighting to fix — underfunding, overcrowding and a lack of support for complexity — have not improved. The Alberta NDP stands with every educator, parent and student in this province who’s demanding better education.

Usually innocent people want a full inquiry to clear their name. If it looks like a coverup, swims like a coverup & quacks like a coverup, it’s probably a coverup. #Ableg #FireTheUCP
Premier Danielle Smith rejects renewed call for a public inquiry into alleged procurement irregularities in Alberta's heathcare system after The Globe reported the RCMP is investigating potential fraud, breach of trust, and money laundering theglobeandmail.com/canada/a… w @tom_cardoso

Plenty of potentials where Danielle Smith and the UCP are concerned. Changing laws so you don’t break a law is breaking the law.

Instead of focusing on things that could actually unite Albertans—like improving health care, education, and affordability—Danielle Smith has decided to double down on division and anger. Thumping defeats in her separation referendum and in Calgary-Shaw should have been a wake-up call for the UCP, but instead, they are choosing to reignite culture wars on things like flags and DEI. Albertans are smart. We can all see that the UCP is trying to distract from their failed record, and we're all fed up with it.

Danielle Smith invoked the notwithstanding clause in an unprecedented move to silence teachers and force them back to work. But overcrowded classrooms, underfunding and inadequate supports remain. Teachers were silenced. Nothing was fixed. As a former teacher, I know our students and educators deserve better.
