The nonpartisan CBO has made clear: the GOP tax bill disproportionately benefits the ultra-rich.
Ā
Under their "big, beautiful bill," the bottom 10% of earners will see their annual income fall by 2% in 2027 ā while the top 10% will see theirs grow by 4%.

That is backwards. nbcnews.com/business/personaā¦

It will take more than an executive order to see this through but it will be damaging and is honestly a really dumb idea from the administration built on dumb ideas
Donald Trump signed an executive order to dismantle these key programs

ALT Infographic titled 'Some of the Dept of Educationās Key Programs', featuring the logo of the Department of Education. Surrounding the logo is text that reads: School lunches, Pell Grants, Low-income school funding, School safety programs, Vocational training and services, Aid for schools on federal land, Student debt relief programs, Special ed programs
This is the right call without a doubt. Property tax revenue will already go up due to the reassessments and there is no need to compound it and make it even harder to live here.

I saw the budget and that proposal and am very glad that the first councilmember i see commenting, has already said no. We can't make it so expensive to live here for regular folks that we continue to lose population. Great call here sir š
Might be looking at the next candidate to throw his hat in the ring for county exec after @CMEvanGlass gonna be one helluva race

It's a good idea as the @TheDemocrats should compete everywhere 24/7 365 and not look at certain voters as simply stupid. It's why we are in this mess.
Democrats are heading to GOP districts for town halls: āWeāre filling a voidā trib.al/iw2uNv5
Both are likely to lose, but democrats should be fighting everywhere and contesting every race
Probably not but it definitely will be interesting to see if this turns into something with real power behind it or if he is just popular on the left wing internet š¤
Me sharing something @BillKristol said and agreeing with it entirely wasn't on my 2025 bingo card but this, 100% this. It really isn't a burden to be kind and respectful to someone.

Social Security and Medicare aren't "entitlements" -- they're benefits Americans have worked their whole life to earn. And Elon Musk and Donald Trump are now saying the quiet part loud. Theyāre coming after them.
Thank you to everyone at @TheView for having me on!
