Says the guy who top ticked $NVDA and the rest of large cap tech and who confidently recommended of $ORCL $INTC $MU $CAT $BA Paramount et al... "Physician, heal thyself." - Luke 4:23 Is there any stated criteria in the selection of panelists? If so, how is @jlebenthal still a panelist? @TheJudgeCNBC Why aren't panelists recommendations time stamped so viewers can evaluate who is value added and who is not worth listening to? Do panelists on the show EVER say.. "I was wrong." Finally what is each panelists' investment process and methodology - what distinguishes them and qualifies to give recommendations on the most important business platform extant? PS I, too, attended Princeton - but they never taught risk management of stock portfolios. They did at Wharton (where I also attended)... but it wasn't in Dr. Jeremy Siegel's classes! We are but five percent off the all time high in the S and P but, with the tide going out, many are exposed already as swimming naked. What do you suppose will happen with their recommendations in a ten to twenty percent drawdown? We all make mistakes - I am often wrong and always in doubt. But I don't pretend to be right all the time and I take ownership of my errors. I model companies and try to deliver analytical rigor. I don't bring these investment boners up because I am attacking you personally. Rather, I am being an advocate to the retail viewer @cnbc - to protect them from non rigorous investment recommendations that ma not be an outgrowth of disciplined and rigorous analysis. If you or anyone else on @CNBC wants to dispute this or believes I am being ad hominem, please tell me why as I can always learn. @TheJudgeCNBC @squawkbox @cnbcfastmoney @cnbhalftime @KeithMcCullough @Hedgeye_HGRO @RPKInvestor @HedgeyeDJ @gnoble79 @andrewrsorkin @beckyquick @saraeisen @SullyCNBC @tomkeene @lisaabramowicz1 @ferrotv @annmarie @business @peterboockvar @convertbond @whitneytilson
Cerity Partners' Jim Lebenthal says Democrats will slow the AI data center buildout, and that actually cures the hyperscaler prisoner's dilemma "I think it's highly unlikely that they're going to stop it, because doing so will certainly turn the U.S. economy into a recession" "We're talking about slowing it down, which frankly cures the prisoner's dilemma that many of these hyperscalers have been in" "Yesterday the truth came out, and it was ugly... they at the least unwound their positions" Lebenthal said deleveraging in long-short hedge funds drove Thursday's washout, and that Nvidia around 14x forward looks too negative if earnings only have to come down some ($NVDA $SMH $QQQ) Politicians as the first ones to flinch on AI capex is a wild way to solve the who-cuts-first problem via @CNBC, featuring @CerityPartners

Senator John Fetterman responds to El-Sayed attacking his appearance, calling him an "ogre on a pike." "I never worked out in male modeling. Call me Senator Shrek. Whatever! This guy is really the Pontiac Platner!" "And now he's running to be the head of our emerging pro-Hamas wing here in the party!" "Some of the things that he's done or said are unacceptable to me." "I'm not really sure what I've really done or voted for that has offended the little guy so much." "These same people like Bernie Sanders...created that Platner disaster!" "He has no regrets...? Supporting an accused racist...a guy with a Nazi tattoo on his chest...roughed up his ex girlfriends." "There's a level of arrogance and they believe they feel like they have some weird mandate!"

Se terminó la tontería en Suiza. La policía comienza a aplicar la prohibición del burka en espacios públicos contra un grupo de musulmanas que protestaban saltándose la norma en una estación de tren. Se acabó el multiculturalismo en Suiza.

Judge @TheJudgeCNBC Tom Lee @fundstrat uses the BS reason for today's drawdown that there was a large forced liquidation to account for some of today's market decline. Here is what Ken Griffin said on that lame excuse: ""Everyone's favorite go-to answer when they're losing money is hedge funds are de-leveraging... I've seen the entire industry de-leverage to zero at least 10,000 times" Why it's dangerous: "The reason that people love that answer is it actually washes your hands of accountability... the minute I start to use an excuse, I actually stop learning" What he asks instead: "What prices are changing and why? What don't we understand?... What dots have they connected that we don't see?" His rule: "That's like option 10 on the list, not option 1" @KeithMcCullough @HedgeyeDJ

It took one really bad day for Wall Street to call it a bottom. At this point Wall Street is AI. Incapable of an original thought.

Tech is recovering today... that doesn't mean the selling is over Right before the 2000 dot-com crash, the S&P rallied 12% to reclaim its previous highs... Those who went max long because “the internet is the future” were right, but still lost 50% over the next 2 years. To make sure every last bull stayed in (and then got wiped out), we had 3 separate 20% bear market rallies... Only after everyone was fully shaken out did we bottom in 2002. It then took ~14 years just to break even on a nominal basis... And by that point, most developed PTSD and were too scarred to participate in the next bull run. Lesson: Don't participate in historically overvalued markets, especially not when that overvaluation coincides with the biggest supply crisis in human history

$SPX finally broke out of the trading range, in a most dramatic way. Previous attempts at downside breakouts had failed, but this is one gathered steam. Indicators are still mixed. Full commentary: 🔗optionstrategist.substack.co…

Investors have moved back to higher quality names in most sectors in recent months, especially so within the AI basket. The phase of the cycle where the most speculative names rise with the tide is now behind us IMO, question isn’t if earnings will be strong going forward, but where today’s elevated expectations will increase or decrease at the stock and industry level. Earnings, earnings, earnings.

Nvidia is now 8% of the S&P 500, double what Cisco was at the top of the dot com bubble, and it's making the EXACT same mistake. Cisco lent money to the telecoms buying its gear in 2000 because they couldn't pay for it any other way, and when those telecoms went bust, Cisco lost 89% and the S&P 500 lost half its value. Nvidia is doing the same thing today, guaranteeing its customers' leases and buying stakes in the very companies that buy its chips. The more it sells, the more it's on the hook when those customers can't pay. THIS IS THE BIGGEST MISALLOCATION OF CAPITAL IN HISTORY
WHY AM I SHORT NVIDIA ???!!! Nvidia most important stock in the world, and I think its gonna drag the whole market down with it. Nvidia's buyers are spending far more than they earn, so Nvidia has started bankrolling them itself, and anyone holding an S&P 500 index fund is sitting right on top of that loop. Jensen Huang went on TV 3 times in a week to tell you his GPUs last 8 years and that the neoclouds borrowing to buy them are a great investment. When the guy selling the chips starts vouching for the people who can't afford them, it's time to look for the exit. CoreWeave's own lenders wanted 9% in April and wanted 15.6% in October (probably even more as of now), and the stock is down over 70% from its high, so I'll take their word over his. Cisco ran the same play in 2000, when it was 4% of the S&P 500, and it went on to lose 89% while the index lost half its value. Nvidia is 8% of the index, and its 5 biggest customers are another 20%. The day after the midterms the Nasdaq jumped 2% and Nvidia fell 1.9%. Today it’s diving more and everything is following. When the most important stock in the market sits out a rally like that, you better pay attention. I'm short, the stock is below its 200-day moving average, and a close under $200 is where I press it. I've put the whole case into a report, including when I expect this to show up in Nvidia's numbers and the order I think the rest of the market's leaders roll over in. Read it here:

I can’t shake the feeling that selling your high-beta tech stocks already down 40-70%, to buy low/no growth consumer names at 30-100x earnings…might not be so smart, either.

Marco Rubio nailed it again ! America and all Western Civilization will remain vulnerable to being conquered as long as Islam is Constitutionally protected as a "religion" and not designated as being a quasi-religious, tyrannical, supremacist, militant, ideological Enemy of the State, for which it is. Do you agree ? Pls share it and follow me if you wish , Let’s pray for America and hope @SecRubio will be the Next President of America , just love this man 🙏🇺🇸👏👏❤️

Schumer, you’re the target you moron. Hope your millions in support and selling your small soul and selling out our country was worth it.
🚨 EL-SAYED REFUSES TO BACK SCHUMER FOR SENATE MAJORITY LEADER Michigan Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed declined to endorse Chuck Schumer for Democratic Senate leader, despite Schumer’s support for his campaign. “I do believe we need new leadership and I think people are hungry for it,” El-Sayed declared. Abdul El-Sayed proudly introduces himself as Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed, America’s first Muslim senator, and then starts speaking in Arabic. Americans better brace themselves. The communist and Islamic takeover has officially begun. They’re going to get exactly what they just asked for.
