MAGA never meant anything in practice. Trump destroyed the GOP's traditional coalitions to cater to a large group of disaffected, largely blue collar, largely politically uninvolved people. They came to him, but never another, and he is uninterested in sharing them. Let's move on

It's impossible to argue that Trump didn't identify salient issues in 2024. But his utter disinterest in addressing those issues combined with his overriding eagerness for blindly loyal toadies to create an administration that made all of those problems worse, not better.

It was a culture of incompetence born of loyalty purges that put ppl in positions they were never qualified for, asked them for results nobody could produce, and discarded them for the respite of a given day.

I ain’t reading all that. Vote Straight Ticket Republican.
It goes without saying that I have major disagreements with both Mike Rogers and Abdul El-Sayed, and neither one particularly likes me.
Rogers and I regularly battled in the U.S. House. I’m a staunch defender of liberty and the Constitution, and he’s a champion of big weaponized government, mass surveillance, and endless wars. He tried (and failed) to oust me from Congress.
When I was considering a presidential run in 2020, El-Sayed wrote a gratuitous op-ed to warn people that “Justin Amash is no hero,” calling my principles “heartless” and finishing with the reminder: “Your enemy’s enemy is not your friend.”
In short, I have no soft spot for either of these guys.
I also don’t vote for “the lesser of two evils.”
I believe you should support a candidate only if you truly want the person to hold that office.
I’ve already voted, and consistent with the above principle, I didn’t vote for Rogers or El-Sayed.
But I do know which one would be more dangerous in the U.S. Senate—and it’s not even close.

Republican trifectas, $3.97 a gallon. Democratic trifectas, $4.48.
California is $5.91. North Carolina, a Democratic governor with a Republican legislature, is the cheapest in the country at $3.38.
The bubbles are the same size. The prices are not. Vote 🔴

Fun facts:
Virginia Democrats put Palestinian Jew hater Sam Rasoul in charge of the Commonwealth’s public education.
Virginia Democrats also made this non-black man a member of the Legislative Black Caucus, while blocking black Republicans from joining.
He’s also a carpetbagger born and raised in Ohio.

As I said. America deserves shitty healthcare.
While I didn’t have you specifically in mind, as an exhibit you’ll do.

Florida GOP Committeewoman is PISSED at Republicans who are outraged over Muslim commie Myron Gaines spewing hate at Jews, Hindus, and women at @UF!
Raemi is defending this bullshit, saying it’s the kind of campus “free speech” we Republicans should be fighting for. 😆😆
I’ve got news, babe; we ARE fighting the left because what we see on UF’s campus with @UFCR is NOT who we are.
The Democratic Party is the political home for antisemitism and racism, not the Republican Party. @FloridaGOP

Politically, this is a net *gain* for her. Half of Dems don't believe the indictment, and the other half don't care whether it's true or not. For worse or for worse, we live in an age where one's partisan value stands in front of a facts-based assessment of what's right.
even this Liberty dude gets it.
Out of respect for other questioners, I decided to let Fishback’s response sit in the moment, but I do have some thoughts on this:
1. No one is trying to rush this trial. Rather, the defense is trying to delay it as much as possible.
Our constitution guarantees us the right to a fair and speedy trial. This is for the benefit of both the accuser and the accused. Having both sides sit until 2029 to try a case for a crime committed in 2025 is, in my view, a violation of that right.
2. The “I know they’re trying to hide something from us but I don’t know what” is a non-answer that is attempting to avoid a controversial discussion. I get it, say it was Tyler Robinson and you alienate part of your audience. Say it was Israel/Erika Kirk/Bee Cults/Egyptian planes and normal people think you’re crazy. Still, a question as monumental as this deserves an actual response.
3. I also believe that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but I also believe the evidence clearly points to Tyler Robinson. I have questions about possible involvement from other Leftists, but it is clear to me that he did it.
4. On the point of what Tyler Robinson’s true motivations were, I believe that is also clear. He left notes, text messages, and discord chats making it painfully obvious that his intent was to kill Charlie Kirk because he disagreed with Charlie Kirk’s political beliefs.
hey @virginianpilot @KateSeltzer @PeteDujardin @stacypparker @TrevorEMetcalfe etc.
y’all should brush your teeth after all that ass-kissing of Lucas. get serious.
actions have consequences. if proven guilty, this family of weed Breaking Bad wannabes deserves the consequences.
now do Corey Lewandowski.
I have read the charging document alleging a series of criminal acts by a member of the Virginia Senate. In our American system of justice, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and that is true for Senator L. Louise Lucas. She and her family deserve the opportunity to present their defense and speak to the allegations presented.
The timing of this indictment undermines the U.S. Department of Justice’s previously longstanding policy of not taking legal actions — to include indictments or significant investigative steps — close to an election and sadly, this timing further erodes the trust the American people deserve to have in the Department of Justice.
“I support the GOP but here is my list of complaints”
leave, bitch.
I want the GOP to win the midterms. Don’t get me wrong.
But I have to point out the complete betrayal and incompetence by many in the GOP who ignored our warnings about the threat of Islam, the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamic communist alliance until the last 2 weeks of the election.
The GOP refused to touch this issue with a ten foot pole and now, in the final hour, they are only now just bringing it up.
I hope it doesn’t cost us the midterms.
I said 3 years ago on my show:
The biggest issue on the ballot in 2026 and 2028 will be the Islamification of America.
I was right.
Vote Republican this November even if you’re unhappy with some republicans because the alternative is the Islamic communist takeover of our country.
It’s all so disappointing. Mediocrity is a plague in politics.

Having had time to think on it, the Dem spin machine is settling on "Who cares?"
Guys, she's prob going to plead this. The most powerful Democrat in Va politics, the woman who defines Dem issues, the deciding regional power player in your party, is probably going to Club Fed.

I keep hearing people saying they think VA-6 could be on the board in our poll's scenario or even in a slightly bluer environment. Even in this poll, Cline wins by around 12 or 13.
If Ben Cline (R) loses re-election I will livestream myself eating the sole of my New Balances.
