MAGA never meant anything in practice. Trump destroyed the GOP's traditional coalitions to cater to a large group of disaffected, largely blue collar, largely politically uninvolved people. They came to him, but never another, and he is uninterested in sharing them. Let's move on

It's impossible to argue that Trump didn't identify salient issues in 2024. But his utter disinterest in addressing those issues combined with his overriding eagerness for blindly loyal toadies to create an administration that made all of those problems worse, not better.

"It was the tariffs" "It was the war" "It was the ICE spectacle" It was a culture of incompetence born of loyalty purges that put ppl in positions they were never qualified for, asked them for results nobody could produce, and discarded them for the respite of a given day.

I ain’t reading all that. Vote Straight Ticket Republican.
It goes without saying that I have major disagreements with both Mike Rogers and Abdul El-Sayed, and neither one particularly likes me. Rogers and I regularly battled in the U.S. House. I’m a staunch defender of liberty and the Constitution, and he’s a champion of big weaponized government, mass surveillance, and endless wars. He tried (and failed) to oust me from Congress. When I was considering a presidential run in 2020, El-Sayed wrote a gratuitous op-ed to warn people that “Justin Amash is no hero,” calling my principles “heartless” and finishing with the reminder: “Your enemy’s enemy is not your friend.” In short, I have no soft spot for either of these guys. I also don’t vote for “the lesser of two evils.” I believe you should support a candidate only if you truly want the person to hold that office. I’ve already voted, and consistent with the above principle, I didn’t vote for Rogers or El-Sayed. But I do know which one would be more dangerous in the U.S. Senate—and it’s not even close. Republican trifectas, $3.97 a gallon. Democratic trifectas, $4.48. California is $5.91. North Carolina, a Democratic governor with a Republican legislature, is the cheapest in the country at $3.38. The bubbles are the same size. The prices are not. Vote 🔴 blend-moss-finch-finch.grok.…

Fun facts: Virginia Democrats put Palestinian Jew hater Sam Rasoul in charge of the Commonwealth’s public education. Virginia Democrats also made this non-black man a member of the Legislative Black Caucus, while blocking black Republicans from joining. He’s also a carpetbagger born and raised in Ohio.

As I said. America deserves shitty healthcare. While I didn’t have you specifically in mind, as an exhibit you’ll do.

Florida GOP Committeewoman is PISSED at Republicans who are outraged over Muslim commie Myron Gaines spewing hate at Jews, Hindus, and women at @UF! Raemi is defending this bullshit, saying it’s the kind of campus “free speech” we Republicans should be fighting for. 😆😆 I’ve got news, babe; we ARE fighting the left because what we see on UF’s campus with @UFCR is NOT who we are. The Democratic Party is the political home for antisemitism and racism, not the Republican Party. @FloridaGOP
Conservatives are acting like Liberals that pushed me to GOP politics. I joined to fight the Left, not college kids using free speech on campus. Our Bush era moms took our explicit lyrics CDs away from us. Same energy.

Politically, this is a net *gain* for her. Half of Dems don't believe the indictment, and the other half don't care whether it's true or not. For worse or for worse, we live in an age where one's partisan value stands in front of a facts-based assessment of what's right.

Having had time to think on it, the Dem spin machine is settling on "Who cares?" Guys, she's prob going to plead this. The most powerful Democrat in Va politics, the woman who defines Dem issues, the deciding regional power player in your party, is probably going to Club Fed.

I keep hearing people saying they think VA-6 could be on the board in our poll's scenario or even in a slightly bluer environment. Even in this poll, Cline wins by around 12 or 13. If Ben Cline (R) loses re-election I will livestream myself eating the sole of my New Balances.
Would this put VA-06 in play?

On top of that Massachusetts is the second most expensive state in the country where New Hampshire is 11th. But sure you keep cherry picking.

I prefer Wisconsin gubernatorial candidates to talk about they will benefit me and the state, not about political vendettas.
CROWLEY: "This election is about... destroying the MAGA legacy forever." That's his priority over lowering property taxes, ending utility rate increases, and making homes affordable.

star-telegram.com/opinion/bu… Really tough to win a "base" campaign where you offend a significant portion of the base and repel a significant portion of the swing/independent voters necessary for a victory. Ask the Loser @KariLake how that all works out.

Thank God a citizen with a gun decided to ignore the schools idiotic gun free zone and took out the shooter.
Three children and a teacher went to Silver Rail Elementary School and never came home. As a father, my heart breaks for their families, the wounded, and the entire community. I’m grateful for the courage of those who intervened and helped prevent an even greater tragedy. No child should fear going to school. No parent should fear their child won’t come home. We cannot accept this as normal. I’ll never stop fighting for commonsense gun violence prevention.
