Fox: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

"Can I say one thing? RIP Stacey King who we lost recently. A person I knew when I was in high school here. He supported our team…his kids went to Stevenson. Just to see him not here today…My thoughts & prayers are with him & his family. We miss him"

John Smoltz continues to criticize Jacob Misiorowski because he can’t fathom the idea of someone being better than he ever was in just their second year of Major League Baseball.
He’s a deeply insecure man who can’t accept that someone is succeeding in a way that challenges his conventional ideas about pitching.
There is no analysis from Smoltz anymore, and there hasn’t been in a long time. It’s just projections from a grumpy old man yelling at clouds.

I listened to this whole thing. Dan wasn’t unfair to John.
You may not like the word choice, but that is also what I heard about John’s first year.
@jon_greenberg pretty much said, in nice words, the same thing in his piece today!
“Schriffen was an a**hole and pissed off a lot of hard working nice people when he walked in.”

Fox News is putting Nicki Minaj up telling people to vote red.
Let’s break that down.
Can Nicki Minaj vote? No.
She’s not a U.S. citizen.
Can Nicki Minaj’s husband vote? No, he’s a registered sex offender.
Can Nicki Minaj’s brother vote? No, he’s serving 25 years to life for child sexual assault.
She seems like the perfect spokesperson for MAGA republicans.

Baseball games are broadcast by guys who have a really poor grasp of what actual analytics are, and then fans interpret what they’re hearing poorly. It’s a terrible game of “telephone”. If these guys actually understood what “analytics” are they wouldn’t have a problem with them.

Republicans are pro-child rapists. This is what your party stands for. The leader of your party made his stance 100% clear.
You are all therefore responsible for defending child rapists. Own it. Be proud of it. This is what it means to be a Republican. Congratulations!

For me, only Miguel Vargas, Mune and Sean Burke are untouchable.....nobody is expendable per se, but we have a lot of infielders right now, so YMMV.
Those are solid building blocks.
