So, thanks to Vivek Ramaswamy, Amy Acton is being asked about the well-documented abuse she suffered at the hands of her mother and her mother’s partner, a topic that has understandably generated sympathy for Acton.
This is happening in the final days of the campaign. Was this what he was hoping to achieve?
Having a survivor of horrific abuse talk about making it through?
That doesn’t sound like what one would want an opponent to talk about in the last eight days of a campaign.
Asked Ohio Dem gov nominee Amy Acton today about this answer from President Trump.
"The facts are: I was removed from custody from my mom. She was not well. From even a very young age, my brother and I experienced a lot of abuse and neglect, even before my stepfather. But my stepfather was not a good person, and it got worse then. He was indicted in a grand jury. He was a fugitive, and they left together."
"I have not seen her since I was 12 years old in a courthouse. So this is a sad story."

Besides this being the ‘gayest midterms’ ever (according to Jesse), Trump saying ‘I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune’ when he’s stock trading more in one day than Nancy Pelosi did in 12 years, is what voters are hearing from the president. He’s rubbing our faces in it.
