BTC to $75k this weekend? Weekly cycle low looms (30-wk pattern since '22). Tax selling ends today, but gov’t shutdown fears bleed SPX (-1.4%) & BTC. Chop til May rate cuts—then $150-160k by July, $200k+ EOY. Chart says dip, then LONG. #BTC #Bitcoin @APompliano @camelfinance

I really don't know which lunatic decided that a White kid born in 2005 owes the world an apology for something that happened 300 years ago Slavery wasn't some White invention. Every civilization did it. Africans sold other Africans. The Arab slave trade ran for over a thousand years and enslaved millions. Nobody talks about that And guess who actually ended it? The West. Britain banned the trade and literally sent its navy out to hunt down slave ships. That part somehow never makes it into the lecture Meanwhile, slavery still exists today in parts of Africa and the Middle East. Mauritania only made it a crime in 2007. You will never see the outrage or the protests... Nothing but silence But in the West, people are told to feel guilty for being born. Criminals get excused because "the system made him do it." Repeat offenders get arrested again and again and walk right back out. The victim gets forgotten and the criminal gets treated like the victim Seriously, how did it get this bad? The same civilization that built the modern world and ended slavery is now tearing itself apart and calling it morality You have no reason to feel guilty for things that happened centuries ago. You don't even remember what you ate last week This isn't compassion, it's insanity This is literally civilizational suicide

I just got off the phone with them too and they told me all of our debt will be reset too and that we’re going to be ok because the governments have ice cream trucks to go out to the neighborhoods every day to deliver ice cream.
Just got off the phone with the most intelligent person I know. He said this is COVID 2.0. Everything on the internet is going to get hacked. One by One. It'll start affecting people close to you and one day a big bank will get penetrated and their data will be wiped clean. Thousands of accounts will show $0 and there will be no way of recovering their true balance. When this happens we will go on grid lock down. They will shut down the internet all over the world for 3 months to patch every single exploitable bug with the help of super advanced AIs. This will cause mass panic and chaos. You need to stock up on food, water, gold, silver, guns, ammo, and cash. ASAP. Rumors are that this global shutdown will start on November 17th.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
November 17 2026 is the date of a routine nationwide U.S. Emergency Alert System test lasting about one minute. No action is required. There is no credible evidence of a global internet shutdown mass bank data wipes or 3-month lockdown starting then. fema.gov/press-release/… blog.cloudflare.com/q3-2026-intern…

Oh now this hits home. 👀
So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right? 1

I’m surprised BTC is only down ~3% after the largest CEX on the planet got drained for $6B+. If you’d told me Binance was getting hacked for the biggest crypto heist in history, I would’ve expected a bloodbath. Double digit dump at minimum. Instead it’s holding up like this. The bottom has to be close, right?

We can talk what ifs all we want but the truth is this current administration has dropped the ball in many areas while controlling the house senate and presidency. @elonmusk even you know this. I don’t disagree with your statement, but opportunity cost here these last two years is greater than we give credit
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: 1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate. 2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority. 3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

Nailed it
Something that the world is quickly learning in the age of AI: If something can be hacked, it will be hacked. This week has been a prime example of this. Security has never been more crucial than it is now

Wow Local bottom on this massive event or what?
Update: The current verified total frozen amount is around $3 billion. Our teams continue to work closely with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace and freeze additional assets. We will only share confirmed figures and will provide further updates as more verified information becomes available. User funds are safe.

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and trade[XYZ] have announced their plan to use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US traders across crypto, equities, commodities, foreign exchange, and other real-world assets, subject to regulatory approvals. ICE operates NYSE and some of the largest exchanges and clearing houses globally. In this structure: + Hyperliquid serves as the underlying technology infrastructure via HIP-3* + trade[XYZ] designs and implements the markets + ICE operates the regulated market and clearing structure Existing trade[XYZ] HIP-3 markets will remain unchanged. Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.
trade[XYZ] and ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, are joining forces to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States. In just over a year, our markets on Hyperliquid have surpassed $650 billion in volume. They provide continuous price discovery for stocks, indices, and commodities, and have become trusted reference points for retail and institutions alike when traditional markets are closed. Much of the world trades them. Until now, Americans could only watch. We intend to change that. Subject to CFTC approval, trade[XYZ] and ICE plan to establish a new, dedicated U.S. market, with novel exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid. Planned contracts span equities, indices, commodities, FX, and crypto, with access through participating brokers and platforms. We’ll share more on products, eligibility, and timing as approvals progress. ICE brings more than 25 years of experience operating regulated markets, clearing, and managing risk. trade[XYZ] brings the product development, market design, and technology behind the most liquid and robust markets on Hyperliquid. Innovation and the protections of U.S. regulation shouldn’t be a trade-off. Together, we plan to prove it. ICE is making a strategic investment in trade[XYZ] and joins us in building towards the future of Hyperliquid. A small group of market luminaries is joining as well, beginning with Stan Druckenmiller. For more than four decades, few investors have anticipated the great turns in markets as often as Stan. We’re proud to have him with us for the next one. We’re building the U.S. market in parallel with our existing HIP-3 markets, which we’ll continue to expand and innovate on. We expect both to flourish. They each have a long road map ahead, from new asset classes to new ways to trade them. To the Hyperliquid community, whether you were here before us or came because of us, thank you. You took a chance on new markets and you made them matter. You’ll forever be a part of this story. Anything. Anytime. On ICE[XYZ].

So… you’re saying the AI Bubble is at risk then? What a novel idea. What straw breaks the camels back?
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

Leveraged funds blowing up will be the sign the top on the market is in, most likely. The VIX might just give it away. I’ve been long TLT for nearly a week now too. Wondering if we’ve topped on treasury yields, for now at least.

thank you everyone for your participation and support through papertrade's launch. we flipped the stock market’s volume in the first 6 hours. one day after launch, papertrade is a fully working 1000x exchange with 5m in the LP and has paid out 25M to stakers. addressing two points that have come up: -it was never possible to allow small notional to have the same priority as large notional. it opens the frontend up to spam congestion, which would have been infinitely worse than the existing queue. we designed the fair launch to be as inclusive as possible given those constraints. -speaking of constraints, the overnight manipulation attempts on btc/eth on the hl bbo were not an oversight in the mechanism design we spent six months working on. these were always accounted for and only possible because the oi caps were extremely permissive for launch congestion. any oi cap during the queued launch demand would have exacerbated the slow experience, and the queue itself provided a natural protection against manipulation as confirming opens/closes had non-deterministic timing. as the congestion rolled off, we began the process of tightening up oi caps both onchain and at the relayer level. in a system like this, a manipulation attack is always possible - whether economically advantageous to attempt is the question. our goal is to set the parameters such that it is almost never profitable, and that the risk is extremely high/-EV at the tail even when it does work. evidence of this can be seen in the user that won overnight and continued to try again, ultimately donating almost all his profit back to the house via new accounts, without accounting for the cost of manipulating the bbo on hyperliquids side. a number of users equally opted to "undo" their manipulated trades in exchange for their farmed paper. we are proud to be the first through the wall with this mechanism, at scale, in an adversarial environment. the market parameters cannot give undue advantage to either house or trader, such that the system becomes unstable and we have thought about these risks continuously since we began on this journey. good luck to us.

Hmmmm If you’re bullish @Lighter_xyz then this is one to know about.
You can now check the Lighter points recorded for your Beasts’ accounts right in the dashboard. Connect your wallet and take a look next time you’re checking their positions or trade records. brokerbeasts.io/my-beasts The figures come from Lighter, who controls eligibility and allocation. Points can be adjusted and don’t guarantee rewards. The desk never closes.
