As I was saying. According to The New York Times: Not only is Daniel J. Sullivan in Alaska running solely to confuse voters, the top Democratic candidate in the state was involved in recruiting Dan Sullivans for this very purpose. Totally corrupt, unethical, and condemnable.
The Dan J. Sullivan thing in Alaska *is* extremely shady. He has no platform, isn't campaigning, and tried to file as Dan S. Sullivan to match the incumbent's name (he called it a typo, lol). Whatever you think of the lawsuit, Republicans have a right to be mad. It's dirty.

I love how every Dem candidate decided their passion was cheap gas these last few months after trying to stop us oil production for years.
Gallons of gas or gallons of milk...it's all way too expensive. I'm running to lighten the load.

Super PACs affiliated with House and Senate Democrats are running ads in battleground states and districts linking Republicans to Jeffrey Epstein—and they’re funded by liberal billionaire Reid Hoffman, who visited Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous Caribbean island and sent gifts to Epstein and his “girls.”

There is something seriously wrong at the BBC. This is the headline they used for a Muslim peace activist who was murdered by an Islamist group for preaching against radicalism.

A classic example of the problem that we actually need neutral institutions that play it straight, but the people in those institutions want to use their neutral image to advance their own politics.
Regardless of what you think of the ABA's diversity rules, the fact that they thought their preferences overruled the Constitution and state statutes and constitutions shows that the ABA is unfit to function as a law school accreditor.

Senator Slotkin, I agree. But if you believe the ad is antisemitic then you agree that @AbdulElSayed is antisemitic. The message of the ad has been a core El-Sayed theme throughout his campaign. This is El-Sayed in his own words: “We’re paying $5 gas. We’re paying more for groceries because of a war we should not be fighting at the behest of whom? The government of Israel.” OR “Israel is an affordability issue. Every time you want to put glasses on kids’ faces or give people healthcare or fix a school, somebody pops up and is like, Well, how are you going to pay for that? I don’t know. Maybe we should keep our money here instead of sending it there to drop bombs on people’s schools or their hospitals. That’s our money. You just saw $3.3 billion voted to send abroad to a foreign government that, by the way, has guaranteed healthcare and can guarantee college education without debt. We can’t. And you want to send my money over there? That’s insane.” I can keep providing examples. There’s so much material as @AbdulElSayed has been hammering this point incessantly. This is a divisive stunt that trades on age-old themes of antisemitism. It blames Israel for all the ills in America. Serious people, who want to win in Michigan, are focused on lowering costs and ending President Trump's corruption.

When discussing Iran, the president reflexively reverts to the question of whether it is acceptable for Iran to have a nuclear weapon. Obviously, it is not. But after Operation Midnight Hammer, on June 21, 2025, Trump declared to the world, “Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.” A few days later he reiterated, “Monumental Damage was done to all Nuclear sites in Iran, as shown by satellite images. Obliteration is an accurate term!” In September 2025, Trump said, “I also obliterated Iran’s nuclear hopes by totally annihilating their enriched uranium.” But by February 21, Witkoff appeared on the Fox News program of president’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, and warned that the Iranians were “probably a week away from having industrial-grade bomb-making material, and that’s really dangerous.” How did the program go from being “totally annihilated” to a week away from having bomb-grade uranium?

This is almost certainly part of why Abbas doesn't want to hold elections. The images of West Bank Palestinians at the polls doesn't really help the whole apartheid narrative.
This reasoning is so funny. Yes, people living outside the territory of Israel can vote if they're Israeli citizens. People who are not citizens cannot vote. They could vote in the elections in the West Bank or Gaza... if Palestinian leaders hadn't killed elections. The best part? The only framework under which Palestinians in the West Bank or Gaza would be able to vote in Israeli elections would be if Israel actually annexed the territories. Which the people calling it an "apartheid" country concede they have not done by carefully using "occupied" as a pejorative. Just mush for brains incoherence.

Unfortunately, I can't really blame the writer for saying this. My son and I had to move seats to avoid a scuffle between two people who were on the same side! Civic engagement gives you a rush. I get it. But I'm not so sure these meetings really make for great democracy.

Don't you think it's weird that China stopped doing Maoism the second he died. Like literally the first thing they did was arrest his wife.
Read like half an hours worth of actual history on Mao Zedong (not written by a conservative/yank), and you’ll probably realise he is one of the greatest humans to have ever lived by the end of the night.

It's almost that time of year when you get together with family you haven't seen in months, only to remember exactly why you avoid talking politics with them. When someone shares an opinion you find completely outrageous, it's tempting to tell them why they're wrong. But this holiday season, I encourage you to try something different. Instead of trying to prove them wrong, ask them to tell you more. You don't have to agree with someone to be curious about how they came to see the world the way they do. You may not change each other's minds, but through genuine curiosity, you might understand each other's points of view a little better.

Phil Mickelson owed money to his Las Vegas gambling buddy, Billy Walters. Billy gave him a secret stock tip, Phil made $931,000 in a week and paid him back. Billy went to prison for 5 years. Phil was never charged. When Billy got out, he wrote a book about Phil. More than $1 billion in bets, by Billy's count. In the video below, Billy tells ESPN what would have kept him out of prison. Billy spent decades as one of the biggest sports bettors in America. Phil was his golf partner, his friend and a man who owed him money. July 2012. Phil owes Billy gambling money. Billy calls him and tells him to buy Dean Foods. Billy's information came from a Dean Foods board member. He owed Billy money too. A week later, the stock jumped 40%. Phil sold with more than $931,000 in profit. In September, he paid Billy back, partly with that money. The money went in a circle. Only one man went to prison. In 2016, the SEC named Phil a "relief defendant." That means he wasn't accused of anything, but he was holding money that wasn't his to keep. He paid back $1,037,029 and never admitted or denied a thing. In 2017, Billy was convicted and got 5 years. Phil never testified. "All Phil had to do was publicly say it. He refused," Billy wrote. While Billy was inside, his daughter died. He wrote that he still believes he could have saved her if he'd been on the outside. In 2023, his book came out. At least $1 billion wagered. At least $100 million lost. More than 1,115 bets over $100,000. Phil denied one claim: "I never bet on the Ryder Cup." $931,000: what Phil made on the tip. 5 years: what Billy got. $1 billion: what Billy says Phil bet. Phil kept his silence, his career and a reported $200 million LIV deal. Billy kept the receipts.

Socialist Florida Senate candidate Angie Nixon recently paid a Jacksonville auto body shop nearly $7,000 for “vehicle wash & road services.” The shop is owned by Nixon’s brother-in-law, @ThomasCatenacci reports, and the only “road service” it advertises is towing—for a $150 flat fee.
