🇪🇺 UPDATE: EUROPE’S REFRIGERATION CYBERATTACKS CONTINUE TO EXPAND - DENMARK NOW TARGETED
Since my previous report, several significant developments have emerged.
🇩🇰 DENMARK: Three companies have reportedly been targeted, including a food producer, a catering company and a biotechnology company. The initial attack was stopped; the impact of the other two remains unknown.
🇸🇪 SWEDEN: Coop has now confirmed seven affected stores. An Axfood home-delivery warehouse in Gothenburg has also been disrupted following an intrusion at an external supplier.
🇫🇮 FINLAND: Kesko confirms refrigeration irregularities at several smaller K Group stores. A cyberattack has not yet been established.
🇧🇪 BELGIUM: Around 75 stores are affected, with an IKEA location and specialised food businesses also reporting disruptions.
🇬🇧 UNITED KINGDOM: Reports describe compromised refrigeration systems at industry meat suppliers, with the exact number and locations still under verification.
Nine European countries now report refrigeration incidents, disruptions or attempted attacks, with additional reports emerging from the UK.
The incidents increasingly extend beyond supermarkets into food production, biotechnology and cold-chain logistics.
The numbers continue to evolve. If it wasn’t for the French focused attack on the 12th of October I think today would have been catastrophic!
Updated overview attached.
🇪🇺 EUROPE'S REFRIGERATION CYBERATTACKS: THE NUMBERS KEEP RISING
A growing wave of suspected cyberattacks targeting refrigeration systems is unfolding across Europe, with new affected businesses and countries continuing to emerge.
Latest reported figures:
🇫🇷 France: ~700 (Oct. 12)
🇧🇪 Belgium: ~75
🇳🇱 Netherlands: 17+ businesses
🇸🇪 Sweden: At least 15
🇮🇪 Ireland: 13
🇪🇪 Estonia: At least 1
🇱🇺 Luxembourg: Number unknown
🇫🇮 Finland: Reports under verification
The incidents extend beyond supermarkets, affecting convenience stores, butcher shops and cold-storage facilities.
Attackers have remotely manipulated temperature settings and defrost cycles, causing food losses and operational disruptions.
The figures continue to evolve as new incidents emerge. The simultaneous disruptions across multiple countries point to an active, cross-border wave of cyber incidents rather than isolated technical failures.
However, a common perpetrator or centrally coordinated campaign has not been established.

🇺🇦 Attention, fellas and supporters of Ukraine!
Please make sure you’re following @UkraineEvidence.
They’re a small but powerful team with a simple mission: to combat Russian propaganda with verified facts.
They want everyone, from a diplomat at the UN to an ordinary reader, to have access to facts they can check for themselves.
Every figure they publish comes with a source, a date, and information that makes it verifiable.
Every day, they document new attacks on Ukrainian civilians, and each case tells the story of real people, not just statistics.
Among the cases are two 15-year-old schoolgirls killed by a Russian drone in the center of Chernihiv on October 29, and residents of an apartment building in Kremenchuk that was hit by a drone the same day.
All of this is available free of charge in the six official UN languages on their website:

Trump supporter: Trump has ended 7 or 8 wars, maybe 9.
Q: Which wars?
TS: Venezuela, Africa. I watch Fox News all day. They keep sharp on things.
Even though I don't know the countries that he stopped wars, he said he did, and I believe he did. I watch Fox to know what's going on in this country.
Q: Do you ever watch the others?
TS: They are fake news. Fox is real.

🇳🇴NEW: NORWAY RAISES NATIONAL CYBER RISK TO HIGH AS ARCTIC UNIVERSITY SUFFERS TARGETED CYBERATTACK
Norway is facing a deteriorating cybersecurity environment, with authorities reporting a sharp increase in successful cyber operations.
On October 27, Norway's National Security Authority (NSM) publicly announced a HIGH national cyber risk level, the second-highest on its five-level scale.
Key findings:
• Successful cyber operations against Norwegian organisations have tripled over the past six months.
• Defence, space and critical infrastructure sectors face particularly high risks.
• Authorities warn that cyberattacks could disrupt electricity, water, mobile networks and internet services.
• NSM and the Directorate for Civil Protection have urged the public to prepare for potential disruptions.
Just three days later, on October 30, the Arctic University of Norway (UiT) disclosed a targeted cyberattack.
Attackers successfully accessed several servers, forcing the university to take affected systems offline.
University officials described the attacker as a well-resourced threat actor and confirmed that this was not a conventional DDoS attack.
As of October 31, no theft of personal information had been identified.
The attacker's identity and motives remain unknown, and no direct connection to the broader increase in cyber operations has been established.
The developments highlight growing cybersecurity challenges facing Norway, including institutions operating in the strategically important Arctic region.
