🇳🇴 NORWAY DEPLOYS NASAMS SENSORS AND ADDITIONAL TROOPS NEAR RUSSIAN BORDER Norway's Ministry of Defence announced today, November 3, that the Norwegian Air Force is deploying NASAMS air-defence sensors to Kirkenes, near the Russian border, to strengthen drone detection and early-warning capabilities. The deployment includes: • NASAMS sensors to detect and track drones and other aerial activity. • More than 30 additional soldiers stationed with the Jegerbataljonen at the Sør-Varanger Garrison. • Enhanced airspace surveillance and situational awareness along Norway's northeastern border. • Personnel and equipment remaining deployed until the end of 2026. The deployment will also allow Norwegian forces to practise rapidly relocating personnel and equipment to new operational areas. Defence Minister Tore O. Sandvik said the decision reflects lessons learned from drone incidents across Europe and the war in Ukraine, particularly the importance of early detection and warning. IMPORTANT: Norwegian authorities explicitly state that this is a preventive deployment, NOT a response to a newly identified threat. The government says it has not detected an increased aerial threat to Norway or the population of Finnmark, and that the security situation in the High North remains unchanged. The announcement specifically concerns NASAMS sensors, rather than a confirmed deployment of a complete missile-equipped NASAMS battery. The move represents another step in strengthening surveillance and preparedness along NATO's northern flank.

🇧🇬 BREAKING: WAVE OF BOMB THREATS ACROSS BULGARIA Bulgarian authorities are responding to a new wave of bomb threats targeting courts, government buildings, a hospital, a school and kindergartens. Reports from today, November 3, include: • Burgas – Courthouse • Yambol – Courthouse and municipal offices • Stara Zagora – Courthouse • Lovech – Court and government institutions • Kazanlak – Municipal hospital • Haskovo – Courthouse • Dimitrovgrad – School and two kindergartens Several buildings were evacuated, and court proceedings were disrupted. Separately, a flight arriving from Bergamo landed at Sofia Airport following an emailed bomb threat. Counterterrorism officers were deployed to inspect the aircraft. No explosives have been found in the completed checks reported so far. Bulgarian authorities say there is currently no evidence of a concrete terrorist plot. The incidents come amid multiple bomb threats against civilian flights across Europe today.

🇪🇺 YESTERDAY IT WAS REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS. TODAY, IT'S CIVIL AVIATION. Europe has experienced an unusual series of security incidents over the past 48 hours. Yesterday, we reported on cyberattacks targeting commercial refrigeration systems across Europe. Now, FIVE bomb threats involving passenger aircraft have been reported across 2–3 November. 🇩🇰🇵🇱 SAS - Copenhagen → Warsaw 🇬🇧🇵🇱 LOT - London → Warsaw 🇬🇧🇪🇸 Ryanair - Manchester → Murcia 🇮🇹🇧🇬 Aircraft - Bergamo → Sofia 🇬🇧🇧🇬 Wizz Air - London → Sofia (2 Nov) Aircraft have been evacuated, bomb disposal teams deployed, and flights diverted. Currently, no official evidence links these aviation incidents to one another or to the refrigeration cyberattacks. Nevertheless, the concentration of incidents in such a short period is - let's just say extremely unusual and worth watching.

🇪🇺 UPDATE: EUROPE’S REFRIGERATION CYBERATTACKS CONTINUE TO EXPAND - DENMARK NOW TARGETED Since my previous report, several significant developments have emerged. 🇩🇰 DENMARK: Three companies have reportedly been targeted, including a food producer, a catering company and a biotechnology company. The initial attack was stopped; the impact of the other two remains unknown. 🇸🇪 SWEDEN: Coop has now confirmed seven affected stores. An Axfood home-delivery warehouse in Gothenburg has also been disrupted following an intrusion at an external supplier. 🇫🇮 FINLAND: Kesko confirms refrigeration irregularities at several smaller K Group stores. A cyberattack has not yet been established. 🇧🇪 BELGIUM: Around 75 stores are affected, with an IKEA location and specialised food businesses also reporting disruptions. 🇬🇧 UNITED KINGDOM: Reports describe compromised refrigeration systems at industry meat suppliers, with the exact number and locations still under verification. Nine European countries now report refrigeration incidents, disruptions or attempted attacks, with additional reports emerging from the UK. The incidents increasingly extend beyond supermarkets into food production, biotechnology and cold-chain logistics. The numbers continue to evolve.
