Truth is like a lion. It doesn’t need to be defended; just let it out. Illustrating the absurd with the absurd. Isaiah 49:2.

“I extend the word Israel to all the people of God, according to this meaning,— ‘When the Gentiles shall come in, the Jews also shall return from their defection to the obedience of faith; and thus shall be completed the salvation of the whole Israel of God, which must be gathered from both; and yet in such a way that the Jews shall obtain the first place, being as it were the first-born in God’s family.’” — Calvin’s commentary on Romans 11:26, section 6 of chapter 15 in volume 15 of his New Testament Commentary
It’s not just the dispensationalists. 👀 R.C. Sproul: “I take a classic premillennial view on Romans 11, following Edwards, Calvin, and Hodge, and all the rest, and it talks about a future conversion of ethnic Israel, and I believe that.”

Looks like @shipwreckedcrew was right. New Counterweight will go over this theory in detail

This is absolutely correct. We do not change immigration laws to accommodate the outliers. There is a process and it's a fairly lenient one already. You can want your friend to stay over so long they live with your family, but that does not take place without an adoption process.
The only people who “belong” in America are American citizens. Whatever you think about Samuel Sey’s situation, we can’t let actors like @NeilShenvi weaponize it to make emotional appeals for bad immigration law. Glad @willchamberlain brought this up when I joined him on Counterweight!

This is the person I think about when I see Trump make coy remarks about the economy being the best it’s ever been. They can keep downplaying the affordability crisis while millions of guys just like this are barely hanging on, but they won’t like the outcome. You can only push men so far before society, the very society built by these men, comes crumbling down.
Working people out there are reaching the boiling point at a pretty large scale. When people collectively start to come unglued it isn’t going to be pretty.

The weirdest part of this housing market: People locked into 3% mortgages can’t afford to move… even if they WANT to. This is a housing market frozen in place.

It's unrelenting and never ending fraud all the way down.
BREAKING: The DOJ’s “Operation Ghostbusters” has flagged 830,840 potentially fraudulent federal student aid IDs, tied to nearly $130 million, in a scheme that allegedly used stolen American identities to enroll fake “ghost students” and send the aid money to Kenya. 5 charged, $32M+ in confirmed losses so far, $750K+ in crypto seized, and DOJ estimates the total fraud since 2021 at well over $200 million.

If the DOJ can't make a conspiracy case for Title 18 USC Section 241 in Alaska's election, they might as well pack it in and close up shop.

Isa Cayahuga is not an American citizen, and our country should not tolerate her existence in our borders for a second longer. Her and her entire shitlib immigrant family need to be deported immediately.
At @UTSA for Pick Up the Mic, a student read a poem celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk with such glee, then told me I was brave to be out here without my neck covered. I told her I’d pray for her. This is the climate. We pick up the mic anyway.

As I’ve been saying the last few years, we must establish a mutually assured destruction deterrent on the Right. We should be looking to conduct all the punitive lawfare against their activists and people we can, until they stop doing it to ours.
This video caused Minnesota to charge me with a felony. Watch it, they’re afraid of it.

We're rapidly reaching the point in this country where making an honest living is completely pointless. The social contract is dead. The middle class is gone. The American Dream is dead. Why bother working when some 76 IQ indian can just scam the taxpayer for millions with his cousin rajesh, buy a massive mansion with the stolen money, drive a 200k SUV and nothing ever happens to them. Even if they get caught, it's just a free flight back to india where generational wealth is waiting for them because they were siphoning millions out of our pockets in remittances. Meanwhile if you tried the same thing you would go to prison for the next 20 years. People worked 80 hour weeks to build a life for themselves and their family just to be replaced by an H-1B and have their career completely derailed forever. Now they work 3 dead end jobs and are stocking shelves at 5am just for some retarded african to fuck with them so they can sell gambling ads. Which btw is also paying them 10X more than the guy making the honest living. This country is broken. The incentives are fucked, justice is nowhere to be found and unless we close the border and remigrate tens of millions our country is never coming back.

This is who Trump was SUPPOSED to represent. He’s the forgotten American. You know him. He grills off brand hot dogs for his family on the weekend. Mows his own lawn. He pulls over to help you change a flat. Let’s you borrow a tool so you don’t have to run to Lowe’s. He gets to do something for himself, like get on the deer stand, one time a year. This is who America was supposed to be for.

So the Russia hoax didn't work, and since no one was prosecuted for it, they continue to cheat. This time they are resorting to just using people with the same name to try to confuse voters in Alaska. Makes sense I guess.

THE FIGHTING ON THE “RIGHT” EXPLAINED: Don’t be confused by the pseudo-sophisticated talk of vast conspiracies, hidden puppeteers, and talk of “post-liberal” bullsh*t. In an attempt to explain the infighting on what is allegedly the “Right” — but is mostly Leftists — people are connecting dots that don’t actually connect. To follow them is like taking your political cues from Dwight Schrute. I get it. People have a deep need for answers, and these people fill that emotional void. But this doesn’t require complicated narratives or great political savvy to understand: What you are seeing is the inevitable unraveling of a Trump coalition that had no real “we hold these truths to be self-evident” ideological anchor. He knew he had authentic conservatives/evangelicals already. To them he cleverly added those who aren’t conservatives, they are merely anti-woke: people like Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, and RFK, Jr. I mean, he platformed an unrepentant pro-abortion porn star at the RNC. That’s taking “big tent” politics to a whole new level. The strategy worked insofar as Trump won the presidency. But now elements of the merely anti-woke crowd, none of whom are Christian, are at the throats of authentic conservatives in a bid for control of the Republican Party. Various interested parties, both foreign and domestic, are throwing their weight behind their preferred faction. It’s no more complicated than that. Does that mean there aren’t actual puppeteers? No. They exist as they have always existed in politics. But don’t make them bigger boogeymen than they really are. Their chief influence is in adding to the social media noise, fueling division, and creating or suppressing narratives. They amplify the messages of those horses they’re backing while simultaneously demoralizing their opponents. Finally, there is also a strong non-ideological element to this teapot tempest that pretends to be ideological. You are seeing people tilt at Twitter windmills, not in defense of a political platform, but in defense of a friendship that the other side demands be renounced: “You won’t renounce Tucker, therefore you agree with Tucker….” “You were on Steve Bannon’s show, therefore you are aligned with Bannon…” etc., etc. Most people have no ideology at all; they have relationships. And most find it very difficult to publicly attack a friend who has done them a service — even when that friend has gone off the rails. It’s human nature. My advice? Ignore all of it and make better use of your time.
