running a creative in both bid cap and target ROAS, does it make sense to have the same post id in both campaigns?
Or better to create a separate ad (same creative but new post)?
@danavirsarria @andrewjfaris @herrmanndigital i would be grateful for your take on this!
So given the current situation of all things advantage, when testing on broad in a manual sales campaign do you guys switch to original audience or just leave advantage audience as is?

My most important rule for life: Don’t complain about anything.
If it’s within your control, go do something about it. If it’s not, complaining is just a waste of energy.
When you complain, you’re giving too much power to the thing.
Take back that power.
is something still up with meta ads? i thought it might have been the outage but performance seems to have recovered only slightly.
any ideas what might be happening?
anyone noticing a dip in fb performance over the last few hours? a couple of our ad accounts just stopped working for the last 10 hours.
it's spending but no conversions. happening across two different websites and ad accounts.
just wondering if others are seeing something similar
#facebookads #metaads #facebook
Seeing something very odd with fb ads.
Ads that were working in january just stopped working as soon as feb started.
And now getting traffic from old campaigns that have been turned off for a while
Did anyone else notice a performance dip? Or any similar issues?
Trying to figure out if this is some sort of a glitch or if there is someway to get things back on track #META #metaads #facebookads
one cost control and lowest cost experiment i have been wondering about is this:
completely new ad account.
One lowest cost campaign at a super low budget like 5 or 10 usd
One cost cap/bid cap campaign with a campaign of let’s say 5 or 10 thousand
Could this set up theoretically work? @andrewjfaris @TaylorLagace @TaylorHoliday
With the low budget autobid, you have some traffic coming in plus you figure out your cpa
And the scale is entirely done on cost controls
I read that you have to go all in on cost controls for them to work because otherwise auto bid takes the lowest hanging fruit but could this set up work as a combo?
(And a happy new year 🥳)

You want something with feeling & warmth, but you have something cold & stale
An evocative space really boils down to 3 things:
Color + Texture + Light

has anyone every used accelerated delivery on facebook/tiktok ads?
would be very grateful for any perspective on this. especially whether it adheres to the bid cap or just goes through the spend even if it cant get the result under the bid
have you guys ever used accelerated delivery with cost caps/bid caps? @TaylorHoliday @andrewjfaris
trying to figure out if it's a good idea to use accelerated delivery when i am not quite concerned about the time of the ad as long as the results are within the bid/cost cap
I am trying to move our facebook ad account entirely to bid caps but they don’t quite spend especially for dynamic ads. 🥲
Has anyone tried this?
And have you tried both cost caps and bid caps in one account?
Would be grateful for any advice on this
@TaylorHoliday @andrewjfaris and anyone who loves manual bidding 😄
Any tips on manual bidding? @DenneyDara @binghott @BHeathMarketing
has anyone tried ads on twitter/x?
i was thinking of running paid ads on facebook/insta - the goal is to collect leads.
wondering if anyone has had experience with ads here on X/twitter? and if there is a difference in quality?
For all the META ads people out there:
When ads that have been performing really well suddenly just stop working, what do you do exactly?
First, how do you deal with the panic that sets in 😂
Second, how do you diagnose the issue?

What is marketing?
You tell people about the thing you’re trying to sell
Everything else flows from that
Which people do you tell?
What are their interests?
Where do they live?
Where do they hang out? (Targeting)
Do we tell them through images?
Do we write something?
Do we make a video? (Medium of communication)
Do they already know about this product?
Do they already know the problem we’re trying to solve?
How do we tell them in a way that they can become aware of our product? (Stages of awareness)
Where do we tell them to buy this?
From our website?
From a store?
From a showroom? (Distribution)
How will they remember us once we tell them?
How will they identify us in a positive way?
What are the things we are promising? What do we tell them about our values and why should they pick us over others? (Branding)
In all of this, I have just tried to write how I think about marketing.
Without any jargon.
Does this make it easy? No. You still have to figure a lot out.
But I feel that jargon does not help.
Simplifying ideas in my own head and trying to get rid of jargon has always been helpful for me so I thought I would share it here as well.
If I have missed anything, please do add it!
I would love to keep learning more about what should be added and how it should be simplified.
Thank you so much for reading!
P. S. I would love to know how you’ve broken down and simplified the concepts around marketing in your own head
