It’s okay to be disappointed in Bear, but still believe in him. I bet he’s taking the loss harder than anyone. He’s a dawg, and he will get better because of it. He’s got to learn from those mistakes and take accountability that he didn’t execute. Learn from it, change, and stop throwing picks at the end of half. Points > stats always. The growing pains of a sophomore.

Outside of Talarico, who managed to run a “big tent” lefty-populist campaign, there was a pretty strong correlation between being more progressive and under performing in these midterms. Which is something Dems should probably pay close attention to!
The worst-performing Democrats in competitive Senate races were the candidates Bernie endorsed. (link in next tweet, no paywall)

With his hat trick tonight, Logan Cooley (228 GP) became the fastest active player to record five career hat tricks, besting Alex Ovechkin (230 GP). Yeah, you read that right. 😮

I love that ESPN came out with a blind resume ranking tool for fans and it backfired because, without logos, the SEC plummeted and people rewarded the Group of 6 team
Notice anything about the “Fan Consensus” blind resume rankings?

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

After the Biden era, Americans wanted an economy that worked for them. Instead, they received a hastily executed war, headline after headline of scandals, a ballooning $40 trillion debt, and unpredictable tariffs. It’s time for Republicans to return to the principled conservative values that once defined us—and that we've steadily abandoned over the last decade.
