Foursquare was acquired last month. The outcome was disappointing. It's taken me a while to write this, but I think I'm finally done grieving it. Here are some thoughts on our final years, an effort to honor the team who helped build & maintain FSQ's legacy, and my attempt to finally get some closure. teendrama.substack.com/p/som…

Sai did such an amazing job with Milepost, you'll notice the care and attention to detail on every screen as soon as you download the app and go through the onboarding
I never expected to want a Strava for my car drives, it proves there is still real app innovation out there

I don't own a car, but I like this new app idea from @heysaik. I like it because I like "scenic" driving as opposed as opposed to a car being used for commuting
Sai's made some cool apps and this looks pretty cool. We need more cool, fun apps. Very excited to see what kind of apps he makes for the iPhone Duo
I imagine car people will like it

It's also got incredibly well-built design and animations. Cars can be incredibly personal to people and I wanted the experience of adding your car to Milepost to reflect that. Here's an example of some of the craft that went behind the "body shop".
That’s Milepost! I hope you enjoy it, and I’d love to hear your feedback. It’s available now on iPhone (Duo support included), iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, and your agents.
