I find it wrong and unacceptable that Trump blames me for Russian aggression and the crimes committed by Russia. He is distorting the context, and that is unfair. In my view, this is merely an attempt to divert attention from the situation in Iran and events in the Middle East. The Strait of Hormuz is blocked—that is the true core of the problem. Yet, all of this is being pinned on us, and I, as head of state, am being made a target.

The Wall Street Journal published a September 24, 2017 article titled “Please Don’t Arrest Me—Until the Cameras Are Here.”
Lander has a history of staged arrests.
Now he’s detained in the West Bank, where Israeli authorities say the olive harvest was uncoordinated and the area was declared a closed military zone.
You conveniently leave that out.

Kavan Vishnubhai Patel was arrested in Florida after allegedly intentionally running over and KILLING Hunter Russey with his car before fleeing the scene.

Name one person. Sanctions were still in place when Russia released Marc Fogel in 2025. The U.S. and Germany traded Putin's hitman Vadim Krasikov and other criminals for Paul Whelan, Evan Gershkovich and a collection Russian dissidents -- also without lifting any sanctions. Trump is treating the release of an American Russia took hostage as if it's a breakthrough requiring economic normalization to achieve. It isn't. But to test his hypothesis: now that Hubbard is headed home, he should have no problem canceling his sanctions waiver.
