With Dems all but certain to prevail in Mississippi and Alaska, we're most likely looking at a 56D-44R Senate and a ~260D-175R House, which would be Dems' largest House majority since 1992.

My pet theory here is that this is a play by both Miller and Vance to force the Dems hands on impeachment. Dems don't want to impeach Trump. They want him to be a two year albatross of corruption. The Republicans want him gone. They're going to go scorched earth to force Dems to do the job. Then Vance gets to come in and pretend to be sane. This, I think, is also why you're seeing so many resignations. People on the inside know what comes next and they don't want to be around for it.
Stephen Miller is the new Chief of Staff.

Ok! It is not a scam. Bay leaves are the ‘missing’ flavor in a lot of dishes that don’t have them. It’s one those things that you notice when it isn’t there, but have trouble picking out. Bay is an essential background flavor. A deeply nerdy thread 🧵
I'm convinced bay leaves are the greatest scam in culinary history. I dutifully throw them in every time a recipe calls for them, but I’m pretty sure they aren’t doing anything. Has anyone ever tasted a dish and thought, 'You know what this needs? More bay leaf'?

The holidays are fast approaching, so I’m back with my sixth (!!) annual gift guide. It's got over 100 gift ideas—all things I actually use, love, and recommend. This started out as a random post idea, but now you’d be surprised how many people ping me asking when the new list will be out. As always, the collection includes a mix of practical stuff with a lot of fun and delight, from high-end products to very affordable items. There are no affiliate links here, and I’m not benefiting from recommending any of these products. Pro tip: After reading it, point your favorite AI agent at the post and have it brainstorm gifts for your family, friends, and coworkers. Here's the guide: lennysnewsletter.com/p/lenny…

"they noticed you're scaring the hoes" is perhaps the best 2026 midterms take yet
Young men don’t want your Nazi bullshit because they have gay and trans friends, their favorite coworker is a 50 year old Mexican guy, and they noticed that you’re scaring the hoes

Basically, Trump blamed the one woman he hadn't yet fired for the election fiasco, she resigned, and Trump promoted the guy who was actually most to blame for the election fiasco in her stead. It's important for us to remember that besides being a narcissist, sociopath, grifter, rapist, traitor, and serial criminal, he's also an idiot.

Correct.
With Trump‘s diminished capacity, Stephen Miller is now going to be the de facto president

Imagine if media corporations, institutions of higher learning, and white-shoe law firms had stood up to Donald Trump the way the American people stood up to him on Tuesday.

Is Chuck Schumer exciting? No. Does he take risks? Of course not. But do his experience and acumen make him EXACTLY the man democrats need to most effectively wield this unprecedented mandate? Jesus christ, no

Let’s be clear. Chuck Schumer gave Haley Stevens $10m because of her devout love for Israel. He gave Angie Nixon zero because of her opposition to genocide. Haley lost to Abdul (twice!) Angie lost by 238k votes. His selfish, incompetent and treacherous actions cost us a Senate seat.

Yeah, there will be no pivot to the center. This is what you get when you have an 80-year-old president who doesn't really gaf about the future of the Republican Party.

Nothing says "we heard the message and ignored it" quite like naming a white nationalist as chief of staff.
