When I was mentally running through the jobs most likely to have to make these hard choices I have to be honest that archeologists did not even begin to make the list

I manage a forum of 5,000 American archaeologists. There is extreme angst about what this admin means for our jobs. Deregulation will likely lead to more work on federal lands, but ending NAGPRA, the NHPA, and the Antiquities Act will change how ethical or long-term our work is.

This is what I've been talking about. We need to stop fighting each other about things that don't actually affect the election. This is the problem. This right here. We're busy bothering with reality and they are not in reality and don't even hear about reality.

Very true! Picked Palantir bc it is already known for this kind of thing but that really does make your point
8/ In "They Thought They Were Free," Meyer interviews an academic who marvels at how readily he and everyone else signed loyalty oaths to the Nazi Party. It was just the thing to do. He wonders aloud what a mass refusal might have brought.
7/ We can't answer these questions for you. But they and so many more are coming. Historically speaking, the average fascist doesn't wear jackboots and an armband. They are courteous professionals who are just doing their jobs--nearly all of which aren't explicitly hurting anyone
6/ YOU ARE A HARVARD LAW GRADUATE WHO HAS JUST STARTED AS A 1ST YEAR ASSOCIATE AT AN ELITE DC FIRM who is being assigned to work with Elon Musk's new efficiency commission to slash critical environmental regulations
