Anyone who votes for someone because Johnny Manziel told them to is too stupid to live in a functional society.

The play: Turn football fans into midterm voters β especially the young men who helped Trump win in '24

Michigan does not have a QB problem, anything but.
Bryce Underwood & Tommy Carr are both talented. The leadership/maturity Underwood's shown after sitting down is some of the best I've seen from a player his age.
They need to be coached better. Whole offense does.

When CJ Carr goes to watch his brother Tommy Carr play, itβs a great story. But when a friend of mine goes to watch my son Ryan Day play, Pete Thamel throws a fit.

Mind you, Victor Wembanyama is scoreless besides at the FT Line and Shai has only attempted 4 free throws. One bad call and Andy pearl clutch begins. The season is in full swing now.

No one at Ohio State or Michigan are benching players for that game, ever. What boomer message board bowl rep barfed that idea up?

Watching the YouTube simulcast, I would answer your comment as such...
*If the playoff push at 24 teams kills rivalry weekend then it's a net loss for CFB.*
Benching star players at Ohio State or Michigan at the end of the season to keep them healthy for the playoff is not good.

If your position is anything other than βevery team should have a clearly defined path to the national title prior to week 1β you are morally deficient and unfit for intelligent society.
FCS literally has a 24 team playoff
Division 3, with no scholarships, has 40
Only reason this is detrimental is because it is inequitably run by 4 conferences (in reality 2) who will get nearly every bid
An autobid to every conference would be healthiest thing for the sport
College football adopted a playoff carefully and slowly.
Now, with the 24-team playoff on the verge of becoming reality, theyβre blowing up the postseason - and maybe the sport - at record speed.
How did we get here?

Miami was a 10-seed last year and played in the title game. Notre Dame was left out and certainly could have made a run.
This is the problem. Opinions have goverened CFB postseason instead of on field results. Play games.

Requiring 10 p4 games to qualify for CFP opens the door for a lawsuit. You canβt unfairly restrict access to the CFP based on conference affiliation instead of competitiveness. It unreasonably restrains competition.
Nearly a dozen power conference programs donβt meet a proposed scheduling requirement in an expanded CFP, which mandates 10 P4 games.
But some of those have scheduled Oregon State or Washington State. Should they count?
