#Manipur: The Taphou #Kuki Village Authority has demanded a National Investigation Agency (#NIA) probe into the abduction and killing of two Kuki civilians on October 28, alleging that the incident was part of a continuing pattern of targeted attacks against the village.
In a statement, the Village Authority said the two civilians were allegedly abducted by #Naga militants on October 28 before being killed. It said the incident marked a serious escalation in the #violence faced by the village and called for an immediate investigation by the NIA.
The Authority alleged that the village had witnessed repeated attacks on civilians, residential properties and essential infrastructure despite several complaints being lodged with the authorities.

A Meitei man has reportedly spoken out, claiming that members of the Meitei community and armed groups, including NSCN-IM and the ZUF (Kamson group), were involved in the killing of three Kuki pastors in the Kanchup area. He further claims that weapons, ammunition, and RPGs were supplied to NSCN Eastern Flank, NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson group), and the Shanni National Army linked to Myanmar’s military junta.
These are grave claims that demand an immediate, independent, and impartial investigation. Authorities must examine his statements, verify the alleged weapons supply, establish who was involved, and prosecute anyone proven responsible under the law.
How were these weapons allegedly obtained and supplied? Who was involved? Were the killings connected to the alleged arms transfers? These questions demand clear answers based on evidence, not silence or political excuses.
We demand that the Government of India, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the NIA, and other competent authorities act urgently. The killing of three Kuki pastors must not be forgotten, and the truth must not be buried. Every victim deserves justice, and everyone responsible must be held accountable, regardless of community or affiliation.

These are the dates on which various Police armories were looted not once but again and again in Manipur , 6000 weapons were looted/gifted to miscreants while Biren was CM, all these station were headed by IPS officers of various calibers .
Not even single Assam rifle armoury was looted or even an attempt was made . Not even single IPS officer or State cadre officer made responsible or enquiry ordered. Manipur is still burning after 3 years now

COCOMI leader Khuraijam Athouba called the turnout a historic show of indigenous unity, saying the agitation would continue until their demands were addressed.

Furthermore, the press statement issued against your colleague, Shrimati Nemcha Kipgen, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, was also made under pressure from the Tangkhul NSCN-IM.
The moment you choose to speak against the Tangkhul NSCN-IM, your political career will come to an end and you will be forced to find a safe haven. In order to sustain your political career, you are compelled to articulate only what you have been directed to say!
To conclude, while those unfamiliar with the situation may be perplexed, those who know you intimately are well aware that you are merely functioning as a mouthpiece for secessionist narco-terrorist elements engaged in anti-India campaigns from Myanmar, China and Pakistan.
