Lovelies, I don't know how I feel about my stories being shared on public drives. On the one hand, it's wonderful that we are sharing stories, and we cannot live without them for even a day. On the other hand, it feels like we're forgetting the humans behind those files.

The entitlement is honestly baffling. Authors spend hours, days, sometimes months writing stories for free, and somehow people have convinced themselves that they're owed those stories in whatever format, on whatever platform. You're readers, not owners. Act accordingly.
