The Trump regime's claims that 20,000 'likely" noncitizens received ballots in California "are not credible," the judge notes. The original claim was 200,000 in California, and the Nevada numbers collapsed upon scrutiny, he notes.

I don't know how to explain it. But Bill Clinton has been out of office for 25 years and he somehow still has this intangible pull with older Black voters in the South. They LOVE the dude and turn into putty when he shakes their hand.

I've been covering SC politics for more than a couple of decades. About that shock NYT poll. I think it's real and that for the first time in forever, votes on the margin could matter in a Senate race. Having said that... 1/
I’m not surprised Annie is doing so well. She’s a smart doctor and mom who truly cares that our kids are happy and healthy and we ALL succeed, not just the 1%. What shocks me is how unqualified Darline is and that she still has that level of support. Come on SC! Let’s do better!

Once again, fake claims of election tampering are followed by actual abuses of power. There's zero potential crime here. Alaska voters are more than entitled to punish Peltola or Dems for this funny business. It's perfectly legal to get people to run for office. This is a joke.
Per Fox News, federal prosecutors are reportedly conducting a criminal investigation into how a second candidate named Dan Sullivan qualified for Alaska's Senate ballot, following allegations that Democrats recruited spoiler candidates to draw votes from the GOP incumbent.

The initial projection uses 2022 as a baseline plus a D shift. The Callais decision may be moving Black voters to the polls, increasing Black turnout for the first time since Obama. In NC, Black Dems on track to be up 0.7 points vs. 2022, and white Republicans down 3.3 points.

Noon update: Clark accepted 9,000 of those mail ballots I told you about, and they were D+1,700. Rural in-person can't offset that, so overall right now: D+30,568 statewide, or 5.8 percent. Today is about D+800. I'll post tonight unless something is worthy this afternoon.

Trump calls for the Alaska Senate election to be canceled and for Dan Sullivan to be awarded another term
Trump: "It has just been determined that the Democrats in Alaska illegally searched for, and recruited, a man named Dan Sullivan to run against our distinguished Republican Senator, Dan Sullivan, in order to defraud, confuse, and obfuscate the Election, thereby taking votes away from the REAL Senator, Dan Sullivan. The New York Times reports that, 'Democrats have insisted they have nothing to do with the other Dan Sullivan on Alaska’s Senate ballot. But aides with the Mary Peltola campaign and DSCC were part of a monthslong secret plan to recruit him to run — as well as other candidates.' The Democrats’ false statements were made under oath in Federal Court. Therefore, they perjured themselves, and should be liable for very serious consequences. Mary Peltola should suffer the Legal and Political consequences for what she has done, A FRAUD ON THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, and Dan Sullivan should be allowed to run without either Mary Peltola or FAKE Dan Sullivan on the Ballot. President DONALD J. TRUMP"

This is fucking absurd. It’s bigoted, and it ignores the population disparities. For a guy who tries to pretend he’s not a Trumper, McCormick is far from the establishment type of yesteryear.

I’m begging white libs to understand how much Callais pissed off black people. It’s truly mobilized them to vote in a way we haven’t seen before
This isn't happening. For whatever reason, polling this year in the Deep South (tied SC, Ossoff +15 GA, Cooper +14 NC, Cotton +3 AR, etc) has been way more bizarre than Midwest polling--even though it's usually the other way around.

Democrats haven't had a trifecta in PA since 1993 (which was also the last time they held the state Senate). I'm not sure if folks understand what a sea change it would be in PA for Dems to win the state senate (let alone hold the trifecta).

It's early in the day but Clark has nearly 12K mail ballots returned today in the hopper, waiting to be accepted. The breakdown: Ds: 4,799 (40.2%) Rs: 2,721 (22.8%) Nonpartisans and others: 4,418 (37.0%) So another 2K coming onto the Dem lead. May not be added until tonight.
The early voting blog is updated! The chart EVERYONE has been waiting for is out -- votes cast and votes left under various turnout scenarios. I also take a look, via @G_BAILOR and @ErikJimenezNV, at down-ballot races. Spoiler alert: I see blue people. thenevadaindependent.com/art…

I've thought since the beginning that there was a legit chance this would not only backfire but drag down the whole ticket. Every poll already showed Brown ahead. But margins matter in a state with a lot of GOP muscle memory at this point.
