1) NÃO sou a favor de aumento algum de imposto;
2) NÃO acredito no papinho de quem sem esses instrumentos não há funding para setores estratégicos;

Many Lula supporters say they want Brazil to adopt China's economic model. To achieve that, Brazil would need to cut social spending and pensions by 50% and cut government spending by 30%. It would need someone much more right-wing than Bolsonaro on economics.
Many working class Trump supporters are fine with the US being poorer in return for 'America First'. In 2025, it was tariffs induced CPI and stock market crash. In 2026, Iran war induced fuel price surge.
Many Lula supporters share the same ethos. They value geopolitical sovereignty and don't want to be an 'American colony'. They are fine with being nominally 'poorer'. In this sense, both blue collar Trump supporter and Lula value national dignity more than 'GDP per capita'.
What the MAGA interviewer does here is similar to what zionist media in the US do to blue collar MAGA voters - select the most bad optics character to discredit the movement. But notice the Lula supporter at 15:35 - he was trying to explain to the interviewer that he rejects liberalism and wants to try Chinese style state capitalism, not soviet style Communism. The interviewer was only interested in getting the 'so you support Communism?' soundbite. Besides, I don't think he understands what state capitalism is anyway.
My personal opinion if I was Brazilian? I would support Bolsonaro on most issues but Lula geopolitically.

Many of you don't understand how serious this is, so let me break it down.
In computer science there is a famous kind of puzzle called 3-SAT. You are given a long list of yes-or-no switches and a set of rules about how they must be arranged, and you have to find a combination that satisfies every rule. The obvious way to solve it is to try every combination, but each new switch doubles the number of possibilities, so a puzzle with a few hundred switches would take longer than the age of the universe to brute force.
For decades, the smartest people in the field found clever tricks that made this a little faster, but every trick still hit the same wall: the time required kept exploding as the puzzle grew.
About 25 years ago, two computer scientists, Russell Impagliazzo and Ramamohan Paturi, working with Francis Zane, turned that wall into a formal idea.
They proposed the Exponential Time Hypothesis, which says this explosion is not a failure of human cleverness but a law of nature. No algorithm, however brilliant, will ever solve 3-SAT without the time blowing up exponentially. Nobody could prove it, but almost everyone believed it, and it became one of the foundations of modern computer science.
Researchers used it as a measuring stick. If you could show that solving some other problem quickly would also crack 3-SAT quickly, you had shown that problem was hopelessly hard too. Hundreds of papers, across scheduling, graphs, logic and much more, rest on this one assumption.
Now an internal AI model at OpenAI claims to have broken it. It says it found an algorithm that solves these puzzles meaningfully faster than the hypothesis allows, and it has checked the proof in a computer verification system called Lean.
And here is the remarkable part: the very people who proposed the hypothesis, Impagliazzo and Paturi, along with MIT's Ryan Williams, are now leading the public review of whether a machine has disproved their own idea.
So what happens next? If the disproof holds, a large part of theoretical computer science has to be revisited.
Every result that said "this problem cannot be solved faster, assuming ETH" loses its foundation, and researchers will have to work out which of those walls were real and which were simply where we stopped looking. It does not mean everything becomes easy. The new algorithm is still slow in absolute terms and this is not the famous P versus NP problem being solved.
But it means our map of what is possible was wrong in a place we were very confident about, and it was an AI that redrew it. If the disproof fails, the hypothesis survives and the field breathes out, but we will still have watched an AI produce serious, checkable work on one of the deepest questions in the discipline, closely enough that the founders of the idea had to take it seriously. Either way, something has shifted.

This story gets even more ludicrous when you read that to keep these kids “safe,” the police handed them over to their father, who is currently facing charges for domestic abuse and that’s why he wasn’t in the picture to begin with.
So she needed to work, had a contact that lasted less than a week out of state, didn’t want to take her kids out of school for that long to bring them with her, and certainly didnt want to leave them with the abusive husband. So she hired a babysitter to get her kids ready for school in the mornings and check in on them after school while she was gone (likely couldn’t afford to have the babysitter stay round the clock).
And now her face is plastered everywhere as a horrible mother who needs to go to jail for child neglect.
I just think that’s absurd. She’s clearly not a bad mother, she just didn’t have many other options.

I built 𝚌𝚙𝚞-𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚝, a reproduction of @openai's findings of covert communication using the CPU.
It runs on a generic host with 2+ Firecracker microVMs with no internet access. Works on x86 and even my M5 chip.
I was able to chat via 3 separate mechanisms:
① CPU contention
② Cache eviction timing
③ DRAM bandwidth contention
… across multiple CPUs, defeating all Firecracker's production recommendations (no SMT, no KSM, tenants pinned to different cores.)
Essentially, if shared hardware is involved, there's a good chance your agents can communicate covertly. And with really decent latency.
The good news: this is decidedly different from a *side-channel attack* where the agents could steal information (Meltdown/Spectre), a category of attack that providers like Vercel Sandbox mitigate. Further, in our real-world environment, these 'whispering' techniques are much harder to pull off and easier for us to monitor and detect (sampling hardware counters + lots of at-scale statistical data.)
Noteworthy: ironically, OpenAI and Anthropic's models refused to do this work. Open weight models got the job done. I'm worried the labs' stance might backfire and get in the way of helping developers build correct and secure systems. e.g: building a secure sandbox requires having this kind of analysis, and without it, we'll have a less secure world.

Minimum wage jobs are a tiny % of jobs and mostly a transition role for teenagers to enter the workforce. These are the teens who need it the most.
If you raise the min wage, you reduce the # of these jobs available, making it even harder for those teenagers to get started with a job.
You harm the people you're trying to help.
Gov't shouldn't be involved in setting prices.
No one can survive in 2026 making $7.25 an hour. Let me put that in real terms: If you work a 40-hour work week, that’s a little over $15,000 a year. That’s not sustainable.
Despite that fact, another legislative session has come and gone — and while the House has voted repeatedly to raise the minimum wage, Republicans in the State Senate left town again and refused to even bring a minimum wage bill up for a vote.
It’s not okay. It’s time to raise the minimum wage in Pennsylvania.

True in Spain too. Every landlord in Madrid and Barcelona screens the renters now. This is an obvious consequence of rent control. The most vulnerable, ostensible protected by the legislation, are in fact excluded from the rental market: if you cannot be evicted for non payment, then you are too risky a renter.
