No historical evidence shows Igalas selling Igbos specifically to Madam Tinubu. She sourced slaves mainly from Yoruba hinterland wars and trade networks in the 19th century.
Yorubas were enslaved precolonially by Dahomey (Fon), Nupe, and Fulani groups via Ilorin and Bida raids, alongside internal Yoruba conflicts.

There's nothing, I repeat nothing that reflects the igbo identity or the igbo culture in this thing uloma just presented. You were given a brief like that, and there's no part of the design that featured ancient igbo architecture, fabrics/textile and artefacts? No wonder you guys
Many young Igbo men of today can't gor ofor in their dialect.
You give them oji Igbo that has four parts, they start speaking English or praying in English
You give them drink to share the elders, they don't know the right step to serve or position to hold the bottle and the cup.

Igala, Bini and Ijaw land grabbers agreed that the language people speak doesn't determine their ancestry.
That's why Bini claim Igbo speaking Anioma, igala claim Igbo speaking akpanya, ijo claim Edo speaking epie, bukuma etc.
But here now, language now matters, hypocrisy ee😂
Orring people of South East Nigeria are speaking up, they're not igbos but Orring people. Orring people speak a language known as korring and are one of the oldest tribes in SE Nigeria, they're found in 3 states in Nigeria including Ebonyi state
They have survived years of bullying by other igbos who have tried to erase their Orring identity, to be socially accepted by igbos, they have to learn igbo language
Know that Igbo is a union, not a tribe. It's a union of mostly unrelated people united by the union Igbo, some still keep their mother tongue

The South East should begin massive industrialisation.
The billions we pour into gigantic village mansions that are occupied for a few days at Christmas can also build factories, industries and businesses in those same villages and cities.
We are already building the talent pipeline through ISEE education interventions, Olympiads and rigorous skills development. In the next two years, we can produce a generation of young people capable of powering these industries.
But talent without industry will simply migrate.
We must build both.
Factories. Technology. Manufacturing. Agriculture. Research. Skilled labour. Capital.
Our villages should not just have beautiful mansions. They should have industries that employ thousands of people.
We need to wake up.
If we combine our capital, talent and entrepreneurial culture with deliberate industrialisation, the South East can become one of Africa’s major centres of production, innovation and human capital within the next decade.
The next South East renaissance must be built, not merely discussed.

We're not ready to say the truth, but I'll say it.
Igbo elites and politicians are Peter Obi's biggest enemies.
Yorubas are not Peter Obi's enemies, the deranged Tinubu's slaves are.
Peter Obi has a better ally in Yoruba Elites than his Igbo compatriots.

Igbos were the slavemasters to Onuku Igalas who we bought at Onitsha market after Fulani Jihadists raided your villages and brought your ancestors for us to buy.
After which we flogged the Igala names out of your Igala slave ancestors forcing them to change from Ayegba Ojone to Onochie Afamefuna.

As I have said before, wealthy and financially stable Igbo men should consider having more wives and children, Our declining population could have serious economic and cultural consequences if we do not address it. We are gradually undermining our own future.
Aside Ebonyi, there rest of Alaigbo are trying to do population control. New couples no longer birth more than 3, many I know average 3.
More men and women are unmarried compared to our Father's time. Not by their choice, but conditions and situations. The next generation will even be worse.
Economically, it's a good decision, but politically it is not. The Hausas and Yorubas dey born like per hour, a shoemaker has 3 to 4 wives, and they all has not less than 5 kids.

No where did i suggest that igbos are a homogenous race. No race is wholly homogenous- Yorubas have Nupe, Benin, Fulani heritage. Benin has Yoruba, Esan and even Ijaw heritage. The Almighty Igalas themselves have mixed heritage including from Jukun , Yorubas and Igbos but you’ll never see Igala accounts admitting this.
In case you are not aware, there is a CONCIOUS effort by almost all southern tribes in Nigeria to “de -igbonize” igbos of the Southeast. Invalidate all igbo history and project Igloos as being a group of Igala, Benin, Ijaw territories who were given a forged identity and language by the colonizers. I guess this is also push back to the Igbo Unification agenda.
Narratives like yours further gives such agendas ammunition.
Igalas got Ikenga from Awka blacksmiths, got the 4 market days from the older Nri hegemony and other aspects of their culture. You will NEVER see any Igala accounts of repute admitting being under Igbo influence. Never! The Igbo speaking areas around Idah such as Ankpa have their narratives of being Igboid suppressed and are never amplified by Igalas.
What is even more exasperating is that the Igala influence you amplify was not as profound if not there would be clear cases of numerous communities all over Igboland being Igala speaking, not the fringe outliers which exist. The Igbo cosmology is still firmly Igbo without significant Igala imprint asides a few masquerades.
So we should just read the room. Let Igalas themselves talk about the Igbo influence on them then we can share histories of mutual contact.

And it’s always the elders. See as doctor chife is talking about Igala with so much glee and excitement meanwhile Igala people will never accept that there are Igbo towns in their tribe. All his tweet just dey irritate me. He should shut up . Igbo men too love gumbody. Tufiakwa
Igala colonised all of Igbo land yet no ones speak Igala in Igbo land
King Jaja an Igbo man founded the so called Ijaw land of Opobo and everyone there speaks Igbo as first language
Bini colonised Igbo land yet all of the bini land are hardcore Igbos with deep Igbo cultural root
History and physically evidences suggest that, it is Igbo who is the dormant force and not otherwise
Igbo elders needs to wake up and stop all this Igala and bini stuff for us Ndi gbo!!

There are many towns in Igala founded by Igbo people, yet you won't see Igala people saying this; we have Igbo people doing this woke nonsense every day. You people should stop this. It's quite irritating and feels like an inferiority complex, "attachment" syndrome
😆 😆 I think a lot of NdiIgbo have a problem acknowledging that at some point in our history the Igala ruled and dominated some parts of Igboland. Igala? No! No! No! We can’t accept that! Pride.
The truth is that Igbo history and Igala history are inextricably linked. Some of us from the Lower Niger were under the control of the Igala until the rise of the Aboh Kingdom. Igala rule shaped our history and culture. There is hardly any community which founding did not include the Igala. Ebu in Delta (not far from Asaba) is still Igala speaking. Idah was our London then 🤣 🤣.
This did not make us less Igbo.
The Igala Kingdom from the end of the Kwararafa Confederacy and its consolidation in Idah, was a very powerful Kingdom stretching far into Igboland and elsewhere.
But not to worry, here’s something for you to be proud of - Our own Aro Confederacy covered most of the SE and SS (Did you know Nteje defeated the Aro (I mean their Edda, Ohafia and Abam warriors to whom Ndi Aro (Umu Mazi) outsourced their fighting))? Also did you know that many towns in Anioma boasted Nteje founders?
The point is this: a society is shaped by different forces- language, culture, religion - over time. Ndi Igbo do not exist in a vacuum.

Ikwerre creek rat. Bottom of the barrel . Nothing spectular about it.
In 2009 UNESCO inscribed Igbo historic Ijele masquerade on the representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The magnificent work of art created by Igbo ancestors remains the largest masquerade in Africa which is painstaking to produce and takes 6 months to prepare.
Not to talk of the 1000 year old Igbo Ukwu bronzes with Ichi and Uli art produced by Awka metalsmiths which shocked the world as to how advanced Igboland had been.
Or the ritual supremacy of Nri which was spreading Igbo spirituality and cultures on both sides of the Niger.
Or the weaving artistry of Akwete Igbo women?
Or the war legavy of Ohafia and Abam head hunters? Not to talk of Arochukwu who fought the most brutal and decisive anti colonial war against the British lasting 4 months that put Nigeria on the map while your Benin folded in 4 days!?
Your miserable Ikwerre will always be a tiny forgettable irrelevant footnote when strong identities are discussed and recognized.
Mr Receipts retweeted
Like, do you know how embarrassing it is to have this as a topic of discussion? An Ikwerre person has nothing of importance that an Igbo man needs.. we are highly advanced than these people, yet some of our people with low self esteem keep urge them to identify with a heritage

Lmao i dey drink your tears keep wailing.
Igbos are indigenous to our land and we have occupied it for thousands of years with archaeological evidence to back up our existence. Every igbo community has a shrine dedicated to our mythological mother -Ala/Ani/Ali the earth deity because we see ourselves birthed by the earth.
If the concept of indigenous or aboriginal was a fallacy, the word would not exist.
