I collated the data today : The overall savings to followers now sits north of INR 12,00,000 (obviously at no extra cost to them) in approx. 9 months.
Gotta be one hell of a record !
Mega win to all of us. 🔥🏆
🏆Over the past 250 days, I’ve accomplished something I’m truly proud of: Helped ~15 people save approx. INR 3,00,000 by securing free screen replacements for Samsung’s green line issue, at no extra cost to them. 🏆
My goal was to turn a frustrating experience into a solution that benefits others, and I’m honored to have made a real difference.
It all started in Q3 2024, when my own Samsung device developed a green line after a routine update. As someone who’s been a loyal Samsung user for decades, I felt deeply let down by this unexpected flaw.
I’ve trusted Samsung for nearly all my gadgets over the years and confidently recommended their products to hundreds of people. They’ve usually delivered outstanding quality, until this moment, when that trust was put to the test.
Naturally, I expected a quick and fair resolution. Instead, Samsung’s response was disappointing, they quoted me INR 31,000 for a repair, even though my device had no physical damage. It didn’t sit right with me, and I knew I couldn’t let it go.
When the usual support channels didn’t help, I refused to give up. I persistently contacted service centers, engaged with their social media teams, and even escalated my case to the CEO’s desk, determined to find a solution.
After 35 days of relentless effort, persistence paid off: Samsung finally agreed to replace screen for free. It wasn’t just relief, it was proof that sometimes, refusing to give up actually works.
But then I started scrolling through forums and Twitter, and my heart sank. So many other folks with S-series & Fold devices were stuck with the same green line, the same runaround, and no help in sight. Some were coughing up cash they shouldn’t have had to spend, and it hit me: I can’t just sit here with my fixed phone and pretend this isn’t happening.
That’s when I decided to step in. I started reaching out to affected users through direct messages, sharing what I’d learned about Samsung’s policies to guide them toward their own free replacements. It felt like the right thing to do.
One by one, people began seeing results, successes that proved how powerful persistence and a little support can be. Watching others benefit from my experience has been incredibly rewarding.
Right now, I’ve helped around 20 users, and for anyone with a device bought in India, we’re batting 100%. Every single one got their screen sorted, no charge. Honestly, it’s just been a lot of trial, error, and cheering each other on.
Got an opportunity to help very own Dr. Strange of CC community @cards_wizard too.
Why’d I keep going? Honestly, it’s personal. Having recommended Samsung to so many people over the years, I felt a personal responsibility to make this right. I couldn’t stand by while others I’d influenced faced the same frustration I did, I had to act.
Samsung messed up here, no sugarcoating it. But I’m not done helping the folks. Still fired up, and I’ll keep plugging away for anyone who needs it.
If you or someone you know is dealing with this green line issue, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll try my best to provide the dedicated support they need to get through this. @tarunvats33 @SamMobiles @8ap @DealBeeOfficial @GyanTherapy

Paid for business, got downgraded to economy by an Indian airline?
Don't settle for "sorry sir" and a meal box.
DGCA says they owe you back, incl. taxes:
Domestic: 75% of the fare
Intl up to 1,500 km: 30%
1,500–3,500 km: 50%
Over 3,500 km: 75%
Even on award tickets. Not paid? Escalate to AirSewa.
Trying the Dark Roast first
- Feels a tad stronger than PaperBoat one
- The aftertaste is a bit sugary (feels like it's due to low quality chemicals as it's zero sugar) , didn't like it
- Fizz is on par
- Bad VFM till now
- It'll take me a couple of cans to evaluate the effectiveness the advertised L-theanine + caffeine combo
Got it
Now we are talking, claws are out.
@sleepyowlcoffee Great job

🏨 Miles2Go 30-Day Challenge | Day 7/30
Where can 1 LAKH Amex points take you in hotels?
5 nights at a Luxury Collection resort in Agra? A hillside escape near Bengaluru? Or even Bali?
You might be surprised by how many nights 1 lakh Amex points can unlock when you look at the cost of an entire stay rather than just one night.
Let’s put those points to work. 👇
🧮 First, understand the conversion:
1,00,000 Amex MR points can become:
• 1,00,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
• 1,50,000 Hilton Honors points
And here’s where it gets interesting:
Marriott gives you the 5th night free on eligible 5-night award stays. No elite status required.
Hilton also offers the 5th night free on standard room reward stays, but you need Silver status or above.
Now look at what that can get you.
1️⃣ Mulberry Shades, Nandi Hills 🇮🇳
5 nights for 92,000 Amex MR points!
• 92,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
• Nights starting around 21,000 points
A Tribute Portfolio resort tucked away in the hills near Bengaluru.
2️⃣ JW Marriott Golfshire, Bengaluru 🇮🇳
3 nights for 90,000 Amex MR points.
• 90,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
• Five nights would cost around 1.2 lakh points.
3️⃣ The Westin Goa 🇮🇳
3 nights for 85,000 Amex MR points.
• 85,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
• Cheapest window: 30 May to 2 June 2027
The catch? These are monsoon dates, so make sure the timing works for you.
4️⃣ Le Méridien, Kochi 🇮🇳
5 nights for just 45,500 Amex MR points!
• 45,500 Marriott Bonvoy points
The lowest-points five-night stay on this list. That’s less than half your 1 lakh budget!
5️⃣ ITC Mughal, Agra 🇮🇳
5 nights for just 80,000 Amex MR points!
• 80,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
• Around 20,000 points per night
A Luxury Collection resort, with five nights costing well below 1 lakh points.
6️⃣ Sheraton Kosgoda, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
5 nights for 88,000 Amex MR points.
• 88,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
A beachfront resort on Sri Lanka’s south coast, known for its turtle conservation setting.
7️⃣ Weligama Bay Marriott, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
3 nights for 98,000 Amex MR points.
• 98,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
A beautiful coastal escape, although this one uses almost the entire points budget for three nights.
8️⃣ Le Méridien, Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾
5 nights for 88,000 Amex MR points.
• 88,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
Five nights in Kuala Lumpur, with points left over.
9️⃣ Hilton Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾
5 nights for approximately 53,500 Amex MR points!
• 80,000 Hilton Honors points
• 5th night free included, assuming eligible standard room reward availability and Silver status or above.
One of the most interesting redemptions on this list. Five nights in KL while retaining a substantial chunk of your Amex points.
🔟 Hilton Bali Resort 🇮🇩
3 nights for approximately 76,000 Amex MR points.
• 1,14,000 Hilton Honors points
A Bali getaway without using your entire 1 lakh points balance.
🏨 A few more worth checking:
• Hilton Luxor, Egypt 🇪🇬: 3 nights for 1,20,000 Hilton points (around 80,000 MR).
• Conrad Bali 🇮🇩: 3 nights for 1,41,000 Hilton points (around 94,000 MR).
• Conrad Pune 🇮🇳: 3 nights for 1,20,000 Hilton points.
• Hilton Goa 🇮🇳: 3 nights for 1,25,000 Hilton points.
• Hilton Garden Inn Bali Airport 🇮🇩: 5 nights for just 56,000 Hilton points (around 37,500 MR).
💡 The bigger takeaway
1 lakh Amex points can potentially get you:
• 5 nights at a Luxury Collection resort in Agra.
• 5 nights in Kochi for less than half the points budget.
• 3 nights at JW Marriott Golfshire.
• 5 nights in Kuala Lumpur.
• Even a three-night stay in Bali or Luxor.
⚠️ Before you transfer:
• Marriott and Hilton rates fluctuate depending on dates and availability.
• Check the full stay on the hotel website before transferring points.
🎯 Now let’s see your finds!
Drop the hotel name, number of nights and points required in the comments.

Omg I’m still processing all of this in this post…. For the first time someone wrote so long post for me 🥹♥️
I don’t have words tbh, this made me emotional…
Yeah I am a law student and basically last year when I fought 2 cases against a big company and HDFC bank… that brought me interest into law… like not fought in court but in police station ofc.
And I have no shame on doing any work till it’s paying me good amount of money through which I can fuel my studies and achieve my dreams of seeing myself in Gujarat High Court, and later on as AOR in Supreme Court.
The spark won’t come down because I love helping people. I’ve always done that.. there are quite a few things social media don’t know in this matter and I won’t even reveal it, don’t wanna make it public.
And tbh I’ve lived a lavish lifestyle as well, back in 2023 my watch collection was almost of ₹1.5 lakh rupees… but things changed financially and we’ve to adapt with the situation. I had two option either to sit and cry about what happened or to work my ass off to improve it. And I choose the later.
I started with both Blinkit and Rapido, whenever there are orders from Blinkit I do it and in the other time I do Rapido when Blinkit is down…
In my city, companies offer 9k for 10 hours recently gave an interview last month in a company… and some companies pay 12-15k for 9-10 hours which I make in 5-6-6.5 hours in Blinkit and Rapido… which ultimately leads to less time contribution to work plus flexibility of working hours and studying more for my LLB.
Last time people of X, helped me pay my fees in this Sept’26, via a fundraiser I did and @thetrickytrade sir contributed a huge amount plus when he learnt I am doing Blinkit deliveries he also gave me his spare Meta glasses to make content.
I am very grateful to all the people of X tbh… X has been the best thing that has happened to me…
I’ve heard this line and it has stayed with me, “God tests you before he gives you the bigger part in life” and I just keep this in mind and work on it.
Thank you so much for writing this long posts for me!
Lots of love ♥️✨🧿
A good start to a Sunday morning I'd say...
Opened Twitter with my morning coffee and within mins, I stumbled upon a very different kind of post from a very different kind of person. The post is about a delivery update and I am hooked in just a line or two, making me want to read the whole post... and eventually look up the person's profile.
So by delivery update, I don't mean receiving a delivery but delivering one. Yes, since the post is well written, it got me instantly curious about how come a guy who writes this well is delivering parcels?
And a quick dive into his profile and his pinned post reveals he’s a 1st year LLB student and a CA, CS and MBA dropout. Whoa... I'm more hooked now... What’s the story man? He then also mentions he is practicing law. Already? That's unusual for a 1st yr grad. Isn't it?
Then i learn he doesn't mean practicing in the formal sense, but in the way of actively analyzing cases and offering guidance of sorts... Fair enough as he is doing it all without charging a rupee. Because we live in an age where people rely on AI for all legal & medical advice.. and here’s a guy offering real human counsel and so i am thinking it's good only...
Adding to that, he also works with human rights and NGOs... makes sense as he is studying law... but he has also authored books now. What ? Wow!
And it all clicked when I learnt he is 24. :)
Because haven't we all been through that phase? That peak 20s period where you are so passionate, eager to try everything, leaving no stone unturned ?
I catch myself smiling because I could now relate to him and it's bringing a mix of emotions in me - a warm, hopeful feeling in my chest and a subtle pang of anxiety in my stomach.
The warmth came from seeing how social media, specifically Twitter today, allows young people to document their lives here. People do it all the time on Instagram but Instagram demands an aesthetic creativity of sorts, you know... whereas Twitter demands clarity of thought.
It's beautiful because I can witness the thoughts of both spectrums here... say from the richest person on the planet to this boy... And that's the beauty of a platform like this.
But how often do we see a law grad delivering for Blinkit without an ounce of hesitation like this? It matters because gig workers in India are perpetually on the receiving end of everyday classism today. Our society looks down on them... and I don't mean it as a past phenomenon, but as a continuous present reality.
Not all have the agency or interest to put it out in the world like this, like he does...
So seeing a young boy choose this is always a breath of fresh air. His experience on the road will serve him far better than a desk job at this point as delivering parcels forces you to face society, read human behavior, learn about people and... build empathy... qualities that would and should make him a good lawyer one day.
I am also reminded of our time, when we also used to do internships along with our degrees. They were all unpaid though. Even today I see internships paying hardly 2k-5k a month under the guise of "exposure."
And it makes me so happy to see the youth rewriting that playbook today. Because thousands of them are... Especially those who come from tier 3 and 4 towns to tier 2, rent a shared 1RK, enroll in college or sometimes distance learning programs.. and fund their education through part time or gig jobs. Most of them even send money back home.
Well, even in the West, kids when they turn 18, work at McD's and baristas all the time to be on their own... Yeah it's not the same as india but still.., watching the youth (could) manage double shifts, then cook, clean, study and do customer facing jobs is always inspiring for me... because I know it's teaching them time management, resilience, and real world intelligence.
Much better than that fake entitlement any day.
But... going through his profile also gave me that second feeling: the churn in my stomach. Because somewhere within I started hoping his spirit doesn't fade away. Because haven't we all seen people with a similar spark in our early 20s... who want to try everything, who are passionate, have a story and are always so inspiring... but the spark eventually gets extinguished under the slow pressure of "settling down."
I sincerely hope his fire stays alive.
God bless, Kaval @thecurious_12

A true incident that happened today morning while delivering one of the parcel today…. that made me remind how people treat gig workers
Got an order, it was a new address and new society I had never been to, apparently a posh society.
Reached the drop, the guard didn’t allow to park the scooty inside that’s fine many societies do that.
But the worst part, they didn’t even allow me to use lift and order was on 7th floor, and I had to climb the stairs with heavy weight, one large carry bag and a bottle of 5L water.
When I entered the society and made entry into the society diary, that’s when guard told me not to use the lift and use the stairs.
Guys we are humans too, what would happen if we use the lift?? We’ve the same body as you do, if it weren’t us, you would even get your order in 10-15 minutes…
