No Glory Searching for adventure deep and wide I found what the bravest men always tried to hide There was never any glory down in the mud and trenches Only our dreams dying with all our senses Some fought hand to hand and tore each other apart While the luckiest ones fell six feet from the start So no matter the medals that end up on your chest You can save your war stories I’m not impressed If you ever feel like you missed your chance and lost. Don’t forget you’ll never find the glory in battle worth the blood it costs. DC #poetry #poet #peace #warriorpoet

What physical measures or accurate data from 1578 do we have to compare today’s events? Genuinely curious?

New research reveals people were getting high on cannabis 2,800 years ago. The proof was hiding in the hair of the dead in a Siberian royal tomb. Experts believe it was given to people to calm them before being sacrificed. The tomb sits at a site called Tunnug in southern Siberia's Uyuk Valley, sometimes nicknamed the Valley of the Kings. It was built around 800 BC by early Scythians, horse-riding nomads who buried their elite under huge mounds. Inside four wooden burial structures, a team led by Gino Caspari of the University of Bern found more than 1,000 whole cannabis seeds and about 500 broken ones, carbon-dated to between 800 and 760 BC. Then they tested hair from the people buried there, and every sample held cannabinol, a compound that forms when THC breaks down, along with weaker traces of THC itself. Since THC is what gets you high, that means these people actually consumed it, rather than just having the plant nearby. The findings, published in Science, beat the previous record, from a Chinese cemetery dated to around 500 BC, by roughly three centuries. They also back up the Greek historian Herodotus, who wrote around the 5th century BC that Scythians threw hemp seeds onto hot stones and howled with joy in the smoke. The tomb was surrounded by sacrificed horses, laid out like a ghostly cavalry, and the researchers think people were probably sacrificed there too. They suggest the cannabis may have been used to calm those chosen for the ritual. That said, the team can't tell how the cannabis was taken, whether it was smoked, eaten, brewed or breathed in, or how much anyone had. And the idea that it sedated sacrifice victims is still their best guess, not a proven fact. Next, they're sequencing the ancient plant remains to learn whether the Scythians were growing cannabis or gathering it wild, which could reveal how the plant spread across Asia. source: Caspari, G., Sadykov, T., Formicheva, D., Blochin, J., Armbruster, D., Happel, O., Ryabogina, N., Boxleitner, K., & Spengler, R. Siberia…. Why? Land bridge theory? Crazy that our magnetic North Pole is headed back there….. 😉 The Arctic and Siberia are thawing at an alarming rate, warming nearly four times faster than the global average. While the magnetic pole drift is driven by fluid dynamics thousands of miles deep in the Earth's molten core, the surface of Siberia is undergoing a massive climate-driven transformation. It’s all connected…. #itoldyouso #CDIGR
BREAKING: Archaeologists uncover the oldest known evidence of humans using cannabis to get high, dating back 2,800 years in an ancient Siberian tomb.

Iran Update, November 7, 2026: The United States conducted limited strikes targeting Iranian air defense capabilities on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz on November 6 amid reports that US officials are considering broader strikes on Iran and continued Iranian attacks on commercial shipping. US President Donald Trump stated on November 6 that US forces conducted “minor” strikes and destroyed a “little” Iranian anti-aircraft system. (1/2)

TWZ: USS Theodore Roosevelt Arrives In Singapore; Last Stop Before Third Carrier Strike Group Reaches The Middle East USS Theodore Roosevelt moored at Changi Naval Base in Singapore just before midnight on Thursday (Eastern Time), her final stop before continuing on to the Middle East. The Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group (CSG) will join the George H.W. Bush and George Washington CSGs, which are both now prepared, locked, and loaded should the commander in chief follow through on threats to renew military action against Iran after Tuesday’s midterm elections. Roosevelt and three escorting warships will transit the Strait of Malacca next before heading west toward the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, a journey that will likely take one to two weeks. SUPER EL NIÑO 🔥: ECMWF PAINTS A REMARKABLE WINTER CONTRAST! The latest ECMWF SEAS5 seasonal outlook (November 1 initialization) shows an extraordinary temperature anomaly pattern for December 2026–February 2027. Look at the contrast: 🌎 Equatorial Pacific: Exceptionally strong positive temperature anomalies, consistent with a powerful El Niño signal. 🇺🇸 United States: A striking pocket of below-normal temperatures stretches across a large part of the central and southern Lower 48, despite the warmer global background. Meanwhile, much of Canada, the Arctic and other parts of the Northern Hemisphere remain significantly warmer than normal. The bigger concern is the potential atmospheric response. A powerful El Niño can reshape the Pacific jet stream, influencing storm tracks, moisture transport and winter precipitation patterns. The combination of a warmer background atmosphere and powerful Pacific moisture surges could create significant weather volatility, including heavy precipitation, flooding and potentially major winter storms. One critical distinction: this is a 51-member seasonal ensemble mean, not a deterministic forecast of individual blizzards or ice storms. But the temperature pattern is certainly striking. A warmer planet does not mean everywhere experiences a warmer winter. This is the kind of atmospheric configuration that deserves close monitoring. #SuperElNino #ECMWF #Weather #Climate #AgWx

Use a gravity bong, or water bong, sandwich it w some cannabis, take as big rips as possible, by third rip you should be blasting off. Most people don’t inhale enough. You literally feel like you’re dying. Hence the ego death part too lol

Yes, there is a chance for a low pressure system to bring mixed precipitation to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast by next weekend. But, there remains a lot of uncertainty. Keep apprised of the latest information at weather.gov
