"Our New Covenant will choose opportunity over entitlement and challenge the old big-government notion that there is a program for every social problem." - Bill Clinton
Maybe it's just me, but I feel like Democratic campaigns have changed a bit.

Pretty astounding: at the moment, the *only* Senate or House Republican who appears to be outperforming the 2024 presidential margin in their state/district is Susan Collins... and she's only doing so by 0.5 points.

Another lesson for Democrats - run candidates that look like every day Americans.
Jamie Ager a farmer
Annie Andrews a pediatrician
James Talarico a soon to be minister
Brian Poindexter an iron worker
Rebecca Cooke a dairy farmer.
More of this please. #Midterms2026

Can verify from Ground Zero that Tim Moore wasn’t the only soon to be former member (and campaign team) caught napping - 11tj hour ad buys on gas tax holiday too little too late

Hinds county Mississippi (Jackson) just revised down their estimates to only 90% in. They estimate 9000 votes left in a Colom +61 county!

NC Democrats could still break the Republican majority in the state Senate. In the Senate, Republicans have won or are on track to win 26 of the 50 seats, leaving Democrats just short of a majority. The chamber’s balance may hinge on a single race in Robeson County.

Was a @virginiafoxx constituent for many years. The only time I called her office was when she made cruel remarks about a student who was beaten to death for being gay. His mother was in the House gallery while Foxx spoke. North Carolina is trading up.

Might I add that now @scott_colom leads by 2,087 votes statewide and he’s still gaining. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he’s on the path to win. Hinds County will obliterate any gains made by Hyde-Smith in other places because of the sheer raw numbers there.
To put this in overall context for where we are, Hyde-Smith carried Marion Co. 59%, yet @scott_colom netted 20 votes to add to his already 2,000+/- vote lead statewide.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Democrat Nate Willems wins election for attorney general in Iowa.
This is a Democratic flip.

There’s a real irony in Republicans hoping that the late mail votes in Mississippi will rescue Cindy Hyde-Smith — just months after the RNC sued to void Mississippi’s ability to count late-arriving votes and lost at SCOTUS, 5-4.

Virginia Democrats' HB 29 map was approved by voters in April but was struck down by the state Supreme Court
Run the 2026 House vote through it and Dems would have won 10 of 11 seats. On the current map they still won 8, flipping VA-1 and VA-2, per @DecisionDeskHQ @geoffreyvs

Beau Bayh's coattails in Indiana absolutely destroyed our Indiana Forecast. Democrats will end up just a few seats shy of winning a majority in the Indiana House.
Just absolutely ridiculous DEM overperformance in Indiana, literally Obama '08 level.

With that, barring any early retirements, the Kansas Supreme Court will remain majority Dem-appointed until *checks notes* 2047.
Heck, it’s probably gonna remain 6D-1R until at earliest 2033.

NEW: Last large ballot drop we expect is brutal for GOP Rep Lauren Boebert. 6400 DougCo ballots break +9 for Dem Eileen Laubacher (her best DougCo batch since election night). Adds 576 votes to her 0.87% lead - now up to 3266 votes. Every lean Boebert county is past its '22 total
