Because the socialists banned charging people money to use the bathroom. They dont read very good, and couldn't see what the obvious economic effects would be, that people would stop offering bathrooms to people cause bathrooms costs money
This isnโt true. Other places have the same level of addiction or homelessness and this doesnโt happen because they have public toilets.

Well the giant complication is that, whether people are self medicating their mental illness by doing drugs, or exhibiting symptoms of mental illness because they're on drugsโฆ Bathrooms aren't the issue.
This is the image of bad governance.

LA forced JC Deceux to remove their public toilets (probably costing the city millions), Tranzito installed multimillion dollar toilets & then Mayor Bass decided to not fund the maintence of these toilets & now the City is spending money to keep them closed & fenced up.

as someone whose commute goes from Outer Richmond to SF State it is completely insane to vote "yes" on G to convert a beachfront park into a $12 million road that is only 16 blocks long with a max speed of 35mph with 4 red lights that has dozens of parallel running options!!!
I know @ChuongIsHere was there recently.
I love Emma. I love her.
the funniest game show contestant is emma stone trying desperately NOT to win, while everyone else is walking away with three cars.
she keeps trying to give the right answers just to get rid of michael longfellowโs childhood tortoise, and somehow the game keeps handing it back to her. imagine losing a game show by being too polite to let a manโs pet go homeless.
meanwhile, the other contestants are winning cars like theyโre picking up groceries.
this is the first game show where the grand prize is a responsibility nobody wants, and the only way to lose is to stop helping

Zbur should be voted out of office for his support of a backroom, midnight deal in response to a $300,000 lobbying campaign to block safety reforms on Forest Lawn Drive. Which is why Colin Hernandez has my full endorsement.
My opponent, @AsmRickZbur, was personally responsible for stopping these much needed bike safety measures at the state level.
We need safety measures to protect bikers.

In recent months, the planned safety upgrades for a mile-long stretch of road near Griffith Park have grown highly contentious for Los Angeles politicians, street safety advocates, and nearby cemeteries.

Padilla is an anti-housing politician who bragged to me about getting an affordable housing project reduced from 6 stories to 3 stories. She also said that broken street lights allow her constituents to better see the stars.
And worth saying: no one has been more vindictive and petty ever since Nithya had the audacity to challenge Bass for mayor, and by extension, all the council members who decided to eat shit and pretend Bass is doing a bang up job.
Which explains why this "endorsement" is so warmed over. Oh the mayor is reachable by phone? Awesome. The city is falling apart.
Take it from Councilwoman Imelda Padilla, Los Angeles needs a mayor who is willing to work with every City Councilmember to deliver lasting results for Angelenos.
Iโm committed to working together with our city leaders and constituents to keep moving Los Angeles forward and ensure our city is ready for the 2028 Olympics!
Make your plan to vote now and get your ballot in on or before Election Day on November 3rd!

You get a few gallons of the thickest leaded white paint, and you just slather it over everything but the floor. Hinges? Yep. Doorknobs? You betcha. Window edges? Seal em shut with that paint. Steam rediator? Definitely.

Honestly the fact that near-universal accessibility of rideshare services has done nothing for DUI fatalities says something incredibly damning about this kind of offender
Whatever we do to them needs to be extremely punishing

Vote YES on RTM! It'll cost an East Bay family that spends $20k on taxable goods/year $100. That's far less than the cost of the time and additional gas it'd take to navigate the resulting congestion from far-reduced transit services
Bay Area residents take 1M+ trips every weekday on our four largest transit systems โ to get to work, school & everywhere in between.
We canโt let devastating cuts take that away. Iโm voting YES on the Regional Transit Measure to keep our region moving. sfgate.com/news/bayarea/artiโฆ
